“Nice hotel, helpful staff”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

The hotel's on a quiet street, our room was on the 2nd floor at the front of the building and we had no problem sleeping. The bed was large, comfortable and very clean - it was nice having the little balcony to go out on too. Bathroom was clean but seemed a little old and worn. Breakfast was good, handy that it's available until noon if you need a lie in! It's an easy 10 min walk to the water front, the hotel's within easy reach of the centre but just far enough away for a quiet & peaceful stay.

Hotel Zaliki is a fantastic 3* hotel centrally located and within easy reach of the center. 4* it is not, and boutique by no means.

I stayed there in January 2014. It is and old building that has been wonderfully refurbished.

Nevertheless, I was surprised to see the limited breakfast (omelete, cold bougatsa -cheese pie- bread and jams), I was utterly shocked when they asked us to drop coins in the nespresso machine so much advertized for capuccino - was I in a 4* or Thessaloniki Train station I wonder? The room we were given was on the 3rd floor facing the back. It was pretty basic- dirty curtains and signs of careless cleaning -hair balls in the corner of the bathroom floor.

On the other hand the matresses were amazing and the bed duvet was great. The staff was friendly.

If the hotel advertised itsself as a 3* I would give top marks but for a 4* and the corresponding prices charged it was a very very poor 4*

Room Tip: Try the front rooms maybe they are better than the back

We had a very spacious modern room and bathroom on the top floor of this small boutique hotel. It was centrally located but still in a quiet street. Guests have access to a free computer and printer in the lobby and the staff are really helpful. Breakfast was available from 7:00 am to noon - fantastic if you want to have a sleep-in.

We were very pleased by the general services of the hotel. The staff was very helpful and polite. It was in a very central position near everything we needed. The rooms were ver clean. The only thing a would regard a small negative was the breakfast, which was quite poor. We would stay there again for sure.
