Centrally located, a few blocks from the port waterline, lots of restaurants and bar nearby at walking distance.
The hotel is well run, helpful and with a corteous staff.
Rooms are nice, air conditioned, tv set, with a small balcony but no sadly no minibar.
Room service is available but i'd raccomand to go out and try one of the many nice restaurants in the area.
the breakfast is really a steal of a deal at only 5 euros per person, with a huge selection of hot/cold dishes, cakes, jams, cereals, scrambled/boiled eggs, sausage links, fresh fruit n vegetables, coffee/chocolate/tea/milk.
free internet stations and wifi in lobby.
If you happen to stay overnight this is definitely the one place you want to go, it gives you the chance to shop downtown and still not trek around town too much.
PLUS: it is a mere 15 minutes and 15 euro taxi drive away from the airport.

Room Tip: try and avoid the 9th floor rooms in August. although they are air-conditioned, the heat comes through at times from the roof.

I stayed one week in this hotel, and I had no real complains.
It's kind of a two star hotel, where you don't miss anything, beside DeLuxe pampering.

Friendly stuff, small but clean room rooms, close (within) downtown street.
Breakfast is also OK, better as in US Motel kind of places, with a variation.
View from the room is not ocean-view-like, it invites you to close curtains or watch TV.

The HRS single-room price is also OK.
Travelling alone, I would book it again.

For a romantic weekend, I would spend some more dollars.

Room Tip: Would prefer higher floors again

We stayed for 2 nights and the accommodation was very comfortable. The staff were generally efficient and very helpful. Breakfast was good and the central location made for an all round fantastic experience.

I stayed at the El Greco hotel for a little bit over a month and I've had a very nice time there. The staff was very friendly, good breakfast, nice room with very good bed, good internet connection (they have a Cisco access point at every floor).

I stayed there for three nights. The room was very small for three people but we managed. The shower was very small too but at least there was a shower curtain. The wallpaper on the walls was badly fitted but still i found the room really cosy , maybe because of the nice parquet floor. I find it great that some hotels do have carpets fitted since I am allergic to dust.
The breakfast options were limited but for the price we paid I didn't expect much.
The staff were really friendly and attentive and they made us feel welcome. I would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Don't choose a room on the first 2-3 floors since the hotel is on one of the busiest streets and it might be noisy.
