We stayed at this hotel twice for one night, using it as a stop from Corfu to home. Only booked in advance the first time and it was nice enough that we decided to seek it out when we returned again.

Value wise, it's worth it the price for a double room. The room was very clean, probably one of the cleanest places I've seen, the staff was friendly and helpful. You get a TV in the room, WiFi and AC at no extra charge. We had to get a smoking room (it was the only one available) but to my surprise the room didn't smell bad at all. The location is central enough so you can go visit tourist attractions on foot if you want to.

The downside is the fact that the hotel is near a very busy street so if you get a room facing the street you'll have some problems leaving a window open due to the traffic noise which carries on trough late hours of the night. However the windows have decent sound insulation which means we were able to get a good night's sleep. Parking lot is small (about 6 spaces) but you can always double park and leave your keys at the front desk in case your car needs moving.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the back of the hotel. They're more quiet and you won't miss much of a view anyway.

While the location and room of the hotel were great (only 10-15 minutes walk from the main streets) - the hotel seems to be in between abandoned buildings. We walked to the hotel and were a little concerned about the neighbourhood of the hotel. Furnishings of the room were modern and clean (although the carpet could use stain remover).

We ordered room service one night and that was a mistake. We ordered a sandwich and it was absolutely awful and not worth the 6 Euros when you can get a much better meal elsewhere in Thessaloniki. The bread was regular white toast bread and didn't seem like what was described on the menu. We brought this up at reception upon checkout and the lady said there was nothing she could do about it - so basically tough luck. While the hotel room was fine, i feel the service has brought down my rating.

First we’re pleased that you had a good experience overall but we are very sorry for the inconvenience caused by our "room service" department . It was my second visit to Thessaloniki, and contrary to first one, this time i wanted to stay at a hotel closer to the city center, at a walking distance. That's why i opted to stay at Anatolia Hotel. After my stay, i was really glad with my choice, since the hotel is very clean and has very comfortable and nicely decorated rooms. The only handicap is that the rooms at the backside are silent but the room view is not pleasent at all. (if you wont spend much time at the room, this problem is easy to solve by closing the curtains)

Short weekend with my wife in Thessaloniki. Hotel is located about 15 minutes walk from the city center. There are shops close to the hotel but for a decent restaurant you have to go to the city center. The reception staff was helpful. Before arrival we asked for a room with a window to the side street (rooms to the main street are a little to noisy). It was not available for the first night - but we changed the room for the second and third night.

Room is spacious and clean. Bathroom is nice. I was a little surprised that breakfast is not included - my fault, I didn't read carefully the offer.

Thessaloniki - normal city. Some old ruins and churches. For a weekend - fine. For a longer stay - nothing to do there.

Room Tip: Choose room with a window to the side street. The view will be worse - but with no noise (as it is from the main street).
