Meze restaurant (Mezedopoleio) a stone's throw away from the White Tower and the seafront. Large selection of Ouzo and mezedes from all over Greece. The house's own tsipouro is not bad. I found some of the vegetarian mezedes such as Kritamo salad and Potato salad excellent. The fish and seafood mezes were a notch below, not that tasty. The prices are average for the location but be careful and check the price before you order any of the fresh fish they might suggest as a daily special. The deco is meant to represent a Greek grocery store of the 50's or 60's. Outside seating is better than inside: the tables are too close to each other and there's usually a lot of smoke. Service was quick and professional. Overall a quite satisfying experience, the food is good but not among the head of my list for Thessaloniki.
