“Loved this hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2012

Pros: Location, architecture of building, service, spacious rooms, Free bikes to tour the city.
Breakfast is order off the menu and as much as you want. Food is freshly made. Everything I tried was cooked perfectly.

Cons: Wifi signal was very weak in our room. Rooms will soon need to be redecorated but were very tasteful, Parking was a problem. Slight noise could be heard from the street at night but this was by no means enough to stop me from sleeping and I am usually fussy on noise (if you are paranoid about . No swimming pool. Limited selection of English TV channels.

All in all this was GREAT VALUE for the PRICE. Despite the Cons you get a 5 star worth hotel on the cheap.

stayed for a night a few days ago.
very welcome and friendly reception by zaphiris.so must be the first impression to every hotel.
rooms ,simply wonderful. wooden floors, comfortable beds, more than enough space to
move ,and an aura of old time grandeur ,but with modernst facilities, including plasma tv,
internet,nice bathroom etc.
the hotel is an old building of 19 century, wonderfully renovated.
breakfast is ala cart but for free, best quality and delicious dishes ,as well fresh pressed juices.
there is a worth to write reastaurant ,argentinian, in hotel, where you can taste authentic argentinian recipes ,really mouthwatering ,and at affodable prices,in a very inspiring atmosphere. philipos and nikos also manage therestaurant very professionally.
hotel position very convinient near port, shopping area in downtown and ladadika, amusement
district of thessaloniki.
all in all a wonderful 5* hotel in town

This was the fourth time we were lodging at a hotel in Thessaloniki, and it was by far the best stay I ever had in town. The hotel itself is a jewelry of neoclassical architecture, the rooms are spacious (the bathroom really big), perfectly renovated and well maintained, absolutely clean and equipped with anything the guest may need for a comfortable stay. We really appreciated the air conditioning system: autonomous, quiet and the air flow so smooth you may fail to notice it.

The best of our stay was however the personalized, almost family treatment we received by all the staff and managers of the hotel. They were always pleased to serve us always with a warm smile, even late in the night. They gave the impression that they are feeling the hotel as their home and we had been their guests.
And some details: 1. The breakfast was served a la cart, which may annoy the greedy eyes but the quality and quantity of the food served, made it exceptional (we even saw local people stepping in to enjoy their breakfast at the hotel!).
2. There are four beautiful bikes at the disposal of the guests for free. Moving around the city is very convenient, especially along the bike line on the old port pier.
3. The hotel position is perfect: ιn the heart of the vidid Ladadika district, within walking distance from the shopping centre, just beside the cultural centre on Pier A of the old port.
4. The cosmetics set offered were of high quality, by a notorious commercial brand (Korres)

this is 1 of the best hotels i have ever stayed in and believe me we travel all over the world fire training and stayed in some very expensive places not worth the money this is the exception to the rule
the 2 brothers now there stuff and did everything to make you feel like royalty i would defiantly come here for a holiday with a lovely square outside with lots of little bars and places to eat its first class
so book up and enjoy the lovely atmosphere

Room Tip: all rooms have air con and mini bar and brekkie is great

The hotel is clean, big bathrooms, excellent and polite staff, super location, free bikes to cruise around town, really good breakfast. Good place for the price. Judging by what people are saying about Greek hotels, I think this one stands out from the crowd...

But avoid the 5 Euro orange juice.

We were lucky - we choose this favorite hotel in Thessaloniki. It's definitely boutique and more... The service is perfect, and the room is simply unique and quiet. The breakfast was excellent with hot food (rather than a cold buffet). Location is great, walking from the city port and minutes on foot from the Aristotelous sq. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty, The staff went beyond expectations to make our stay exceptional and the hotel itself is amazing. We highly recommend it for any vacation. You will never feel disappointed!!!
we're waiting for the next opportunity to be their guests!!!

So many five-star hotels are cold and impersonal – even in Greece! This one is different. From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed as a friend. Our early check-in and late check-out were no problem for them. Every member of the staff, from the Manager downwards, is unfailingly charming, polite, helpful and friendly. That gives the Bristol a very special atmosphere, in addition to its location in the historic district of Ladadika – a very charming and mostly pedestrianised part of the city. We were upgraded to a large, luxurious first-floor room on the corner, overlooking the square. Unlike a previous reviewer, we were not troubled by any night-time noise – even though it was a national holiday! (I wonder if he had a window open? The double-glazing and air con are both very efficient.) We had a comfortable sitting area, king-size bed, good TV, well-stocked mini-bar and nice bathroom with a large shower that actually worked (rare in Greece!). Linen, including bathrobes, is changed daily. Breakfast is excellent – not the usual tired buffet, but a long a la carte menu of imaginative dishes. Go for the bacon and feta cheese omelet or yoghurt, honey and walnuts or creamy bougatsa. Orange juice is, of course, freshly squeezed, and there’s coffee of all types, plus chocolate, on offer. It really is impossible to fault this hotel. Whether you are here on business or pleasure, this is a perfect base in Thessaloniki. Great value, too. Look out for those discounted rates, especially in low season!
