“Hotel well situated, with all necessary comfort”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

The hotel Le Palace is situated at the beginning of Tsimski Street, one of the main streets in the city centre. The hotel is very well placed and the rooms are comfortable with all modern standard. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Wifi-connection is well working. The hotel is perfect for a city trip to explore busy Thessaloniki. The main road is quite noisy, so try to get a room backwards. Ofcourse, if you are looking for a quiet surrounding book elsewhere, but if you are looking for a hotel well placed in the city centre, close to nightlife and excellent restaurants and with a very good standard hotel comfort (TV, air condition, comfortable beds) you won't regret your choice. I would definitively book here again.

Stayed here at both ends of our holiday in Greece, great location in the city, easy to find from the airport bus and a discount on car parking.
Rooms where a decent size with all mod cons, an excellent buffet breakfast, and helpful front desk.

Room Tip: rooms overlooking street to watch the city go by, or if you prefer it really quiet ask for one at th...

We arrived late having not booked anything in Thessaloniki. While the outside is not particularly beautiful the rooms are big, light and spacious. The beds are huge and they make a big thing about how they are 10 layers of gorgeousness and to be fair they are REALLY comfortable, this is not the norm in Greece!! We had a great evening out and feeling a little tired and emotional next morning we didn't take advantage of the amazing breakfast but it looked fantastic!

All this for E50 per night! Well done, we would definitely stay here again.

This hôtel is a 4 minute walk from everything: the main square, the water front and the Ladadika area with the best taverns and restaurants. The bus stop on Tsimiski is 50 m. from the front door. You can not find a better location. The wifi works very well. The breakfast buffet is quite good. Our "executive room" (310) was large, non smoking, clean and very quiet. You must ask for a room which is piso ( πίσω ), in the back, so that you will not be bothered by the sound of traffic coming from the street. We had a clean bathroom, good bed, a lot of pillows and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.I would stay here again.

Booked this hotel because of the good deal and the location.

Indeed, when we arrived we confirmed that this hotel is really close to the center, located in the main shopping street, Tsimiski.
Overall we were really satisfied with the staff service. They were polite and ready to help us. They had booked us also a taxi to take us to the airport with a good deal of 15 euros, whereas the normal price would be 20-25 euros.
The room was clean, had enough space for two people and the bathroom was spacious. There were windows in both the room and bathroom, giving a nice warm sunlight. The room had tv (greek channels only), air condition, small fridge that we use to keep cool our water bottles, closet with satisfied space, FREE WIFI (!!), phone, hair dryer in the bathroom and a small balcony.
The breakfast was fantastic, Having plenty things to choose from. Beverages included frape, coffees, teas and juices. THe food was really nice and tasty. Besides the usual cooked breakfast and toasts there were greek traditional cakes like bougatsa, spinach pie, coconut cake, brownies, cookies, etc..!
The only thing to complain about was the noise from the air condition when it was switched off, but didn't bothered our night sleep anyway.
Definitely staying again here in our next trip to Thessaloniki.

Room Tip: Choose a room that is on the top floors with a street view.

We only had one night here as this was the first day of our road trip round the sites of mainland Greece. When we checked in the lady was lovely and very friendly. She gave us rooms at the back as she said the front is noisy, so that was fine with us. They were very clean and of a good size and comfortable. Very good breakfast with as much as you want.

We were disappointed from the hotel because we were expecting a better room having in mind previous reviews,The rooms wasnt clean enough and there was a bad smell from the toilet. The staff should be friendlier except of the cleaning lady who was very polite. The positives were the comfortable beds and the good breakfast(although if you wanted to order a coffee wasnt including). The position was perfect right in the center of the town(too much noice but we didnt bother)
