Located in the center of this very nice city, The Tourist is attractive, spotless, and classic, complete with the center elevator, gilded ceiling in the lobby, and a spiral staircase. Even knowing that we were staying only one night, the concierge (who turned out to be the owners' son) gave us all kinds of information about how to proceed to our next stop, as well as where to go with so little time in the city. The room was not small, and the bath very adequate in size. Breakfast was very nice, in a sunny room. We were told that there are newer 'superior' rooms for about 80 euros, 15 more than our off-peak season charge.

We intend to go back to Thessaloniki and definitely stay at the Tourist again.

The Hotel was at an excellent location,in the middle of all action, the staff was very helpful, the hotel was like an old house rather than an hotel the breakfast room and breakfast was really nice. Our room for three was very spacious and quite although the hotel is on a busy road. My only criticism would be the water pressure in the shower which needs to be improved .

We went to Thessaloniki for the weekend and stayed at Tourist Hotel for one night. The location of the hotel was fantastic, it was in the hearth of the city-just next to Aristotelous Square. The staffs were extremely nice and helpful. We were very pleased by the informative service of the staff at the reception. We had booked a double room and then were upgraded to a superior room, which was very clean and modern. We would definitely recommend this hotel. It was good value for money, in a central location.

4 of us, travelling by bicycle, stayed in a Quadruple room. Good service from English-speaking staff. Nice 1930s building with old-skool elevator.
Price was a bit high for our budget trip (140 euro) as there was a Trade Fair on in town.
Location was superb: a quiet corner a very short hop from Thessaloniki's waterfront strip of bars, restaurants, etc.
Breakfast was standard hotel fayre, but ample and tasty.
