Based in 21, Mitropoleos str. (5 minutes walking from Aristotelous Square). We found an offer and paid 54EUR per night in a double bed ensuite room (at full price it was 100 Eur but this price is really too much for what is offered). The hotel is old stile but furniture is quite new and pleasant, with old stile elevator. Our room was quite small, not 100% clean but clean, bathroom small but functional, big shower. Breakfast was included in the price, offering a good variety of food, Greek and International, till 11am. Staff is very helpful and kind, we really appreciated it. Special thank you to twins Vassili and Dimitri :) Reception is open all night. Bus no. 50 from/to airport is placed just in front of the hotel, which is really good!!! Very advised!

Room Tip: Not sure if there are but you can try to ask for a room which is not placed in front of the bar. The...

We have stayed at this hotel several times on our way to Thassos, it's location is very central and close to the main square. The hotel itself is lovely, like steppng back time, you can almost imagine Hercule Poirot to pass you in the corridor! The rooms are a really good size and the large windows offer plenty of light. The hotel offers a choice of standard and deluxe rooms and we have stayed in both. The deluxe rooms have been refurbished to a high standard and are more than comfortable but lack the charm of the standard rooms, which are really lovely! breakfast is of typicially greek fayre and incldues a choice of cold cuts, cheese, yogurt etc. accompanied by good coffee. On the whole a lovely hotel, which we are visiting again in August.

Room Tip: Book a standard room, you won't be disappointed!

I stayed at Tourist Hotel for 3 nights for business reason and I find it perfect
Next to Aristotelous square one street above the waterfront.
Family ran business, very clean and friendly staff.
Previous time I stayed in next hotels much more expensive with no reason and the same size as Tourist rooms.
I stayed in a standard Single on the first floor very nice little bit small but ok. They told me that they have superior rooms and next time I tried them

Thank I will stay again

Good value for money, clean, very cetrally located. A bauhaus building of the late '20s. Really pleasant experience. The breakfast room nicely decorated. Breakfast simple but nice and served until 11a.m. Very friendly people at the reception desk. A wise choice if you want to visit Thessaloniki.

Yes the location is perfect, opposite the airport bus stop and one block off the main square. Yes it is excellent value too. But the best thing here is experiencing service and house-keeping at the highest level from real professionals. I have never seen a hotel so clean in every area. The desk staff, all handsomely dressed in black and whites are so helpful and friendly. A hotel with standards from a bygone gracious era. Stay here and enjoy the dying art of true hospitality. And having supervised and trained staff at one of the best hotels in the world, I am qualified to comment. Will definitely return.

The room we got was the central one on the second floor.
Partially renewed, very spacious and comfortable with new big wooden windows with double glass, viewing at Mitropoleos and Komninon. As long as you keep your windows closed, noise stays out even at rush hour.

The bathroom was small but decent, just the shower cabin was too small for me. An average person would fit but tight.

If you are looking for fancy, shiny and modern stuff, go look elsewhere.

The hotel offers an old (1930) atmosphere and feeling, having nice carpets in and out of the rooms, very high ceilings, large marble staircase, nice chandeliers, a rare wooden large elevator, very high original old wooden room doors, original golden ceiling decor and more.

The location of the hotel, could not be better in the city of Thessaloniki. Exactly in the center of everything, just a breath away from almost everywhere (Ladadika, the port, WHite Tower, Shopping, cafes, transportation, everything!).

Breakfast was served until 11 (!), the breakfast room was never crowded and the food was refilled regularily. Nice coffee charged ONLY 1,5 euro served at the room!!!.
Free wifi with good coverage and a router at every floor.

Very good price.

Room Tip: Ask for the central large room of the second floor. I think all floors has got a central room like t...
