We spent one night at this 3-star hotel on our way to Sofia.

LOCATION: In the heart of the city, a few metres from the Church of St. Dimitrios, a block from the ancient Roman Forum, the Byzantine monuments, the University and the shopping streets of Tsimiski, Metropoleos, St. Sophia and Aristotle square.
There are several restaurants in the round area, coffee shops and groceries.

STAFF & SERVICE: Impeccable service, excellent hosts. It is a family business and we enjoyed a pleasant and sincere hospitality.

ROOMS: Impeccably clean, normal size, high ceilings and comfortable single beds.

A safe and a hairdryer were not provided but I did not even expect such amenities out of a 3 star hotel anyway. However there is a small fridge and an open wardrobe to hang a few clothes.

We asked for a quiet room and we had one overlooking the back of the hotel thus we avoided street sounds and traffic.

BATHROOM: Small but functional with a shower with strong pressure of water.

DOWNSIDE: The hotel lacks a lift so guests should have this in mind and the floor is wooden so there are times when it gets a bit noisy especially at night when guests arrive or return from their outings. There was a banging of a door at 4:00 am but I don’t count this as a problem coming from the management but from guests who pay no respect to fellow guests.

There is no parking, but if you are repeaters just let the owners know. They will do their best to keep some space if you are lucky enough.

BREAKFAST: There is no breakfast service here. Instead guests can enjoy complimentary coffee or tea at the nicely decorated little coffee room any time of day or night they wish with great quality biscuits and cakes.

WI FI is complementary although we did not use it. There is also a small sitting lounge with a big flat TV.

IN ALL: We enjoyed our stay and we won’t hesitate to return when back to Thessaloniki.

Located 5 min by walk from Aristotle Square and opposite to Roman Archeological site. The rooms are cozy and very comfortable. There is no elevator but the staff is very helpful in case of heavy luggage. Free WiFi is available. There is a small coffee room which serves coffee and cookies. There is no breakfast but plenty of options available right outside the hotel. Walk up the street right beside the hotel and turn right and you can find a lovely Bakery which also has some options for Vegetarians. The staff helped us in planning our day and they provided a map of the city with the major attractions. They also helped us in getting self drive cars, finding parking and were always patient with our queries.

Overall an excellent value for money hotel in heart of Thessaloniki with warm, friendly and helpful staff who take extra care to make your stay very comfortable and pleasant.

This is a very nice old building. The rooms have very high ceilings. The interiors in nicely refurbished, modern bath, comfortable beds. No breakfats but coffee and cookies are served. The location was very convenient we walked to all sites. Parking is difficult in the area. The Cafe next to the hotel is very good in all aspects.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Arrived from the airport by bus(78N);2 euro. Hotel is just opposite the Roman archaeological site. No elevator, but amazing, helpful staff. Room was spacious enough and comfy. WiFi free and working. No brekky, but tea/coffee and cookies available all day free.
Off street parking is available free of charge. Well recommended!
