we stayed there when we visited the local university to attend some courses. The location was perfect, next to the University and really close to everything important in the city,
Other than that the hotel was really bad. Our room was really old and smelly, looked dirty and, with a window facing a wall. Breakfast was decent but not special, and the guy in the reception almost denied us one breakfast because we arrived at 6am , while we had payed for the previous night..For the 90 euros for a twin room, it's really bad

This hotel is located very close to the town centre and the stuff was ok. The rooms on the other hand, are pretty old and the balconies are a place to avoid. It's perfect for a couple of nights if you travel alone on a business trip and you don't want to pay much.

OK so you want accommodation in Thessaloniki and have never been there before and you are cruising along the main drag and there is this hotel on your left. Reception seems reasonable, you book a couple of nights, spend an hour finding somewhere to park your hire car and take the minuscule lift to your room. It is dreary, noisy and not very clean but you accept all that as you are exhausted. Then throughout the night you are kept awake by legions of shrieking kids. In the morning breakfast does not even offer Greek Yoghurt and Honey! How can I survive without this staple of my diet when in Greece? Oh yes, I ate in for one of my three nights. Do not do that EVER.

location not bad, but all furniture are very old and overused, beds are very old and beds cover is full of dust, carpet is that old and dusty that needs to be changed urgently, receptioner not friendly, wanted to charge me more than it was shown on web page. so not very satisfied there are a lot of hotels near by cheaper and better ones.

Room Tip: i do not have any idea

We booked in here overnight on 24/8/12.

The staff in this hotel were very pleasant and most helpful. The rooms were fine, they had everything we needed in the room, if a little dated but we hadn't planned on spending that much time in the room anyway. It is very central for most things, especially The Tower, which I only managed to get up to the 2nd floor of on the day we visited, it was too hot for me (not a complaint, just an observation). Overall I would recommend staying here and would use the hotel again.

Room Tip: can't really comment on this

The otherwise fairly unhelpful Tourist Information Office said this was the nearest 3-star hotel, so we walked up to it. An extremely pleasant gentleman at reception showed us Room 406, which contained a number of pieces of white painted furniture, a fridge with minibar, a comfortable bed, a fully-equipped shower room and...unique in the bits of Greece we stayed in...a carpet! All this, including air-conditioning and television with one English channel (Euronews...but we weren't in Thessaloniki to watch TV) and including breakfast with extensive choice, was 68 Euro a night for the two of us. As previous reviewers have said, the hotel is very centrally located and it's possible to walk to all the major attractions. For us its best aspect was the very friendly and helpful staff, who explained everything from what would be open on 15 August to how to buy a bus ticket. Yes, it's a bit old-fashioned, but if you're not looking for plasma screen TVs and the like, it's certainly worth a look.
