Don't know where to start, the location, facilities or the staff. All were excellent. The location is perfect, right on Aristoteliou Sq near the waterfront which made exploring the city all the more easier. The staff were very knowledgeable and provided us with great assistance in arranging our day trips to Vergina and Kavala.

Breakfast was served on the top floor restaurant with fantastic views of the ocean and city, a great way to start the day. The cleaning staff were always accommodating and the daily ritual of chocolates on our beds was a nice treat.

It was very nice hotel we came for weeding anniversary the hotel gave us nice bottle and forte and box of chocolates. They every day sends welcomed latter wrote suggested plan for a day. You feel comfortbul when you asked them they are friendly and hostility.
The breakfast very good they put all kind of food. There is shuttle take you to the beach every 10 min also there is one to emaret mall every 3 hours.
We stay on the tower 1 but tower 2 is better but more expensefe.

I stayed in Electra Palace hotel 2 days in July 2013 in connection with a conference. The hotel is nicely located in a square bordering the sea. The hotel itself is generally okay. However, my room faced an inner courtyard where apparently the motors of the air conditioning system were located, so if you opened the window, it was really noisy. As it was above 28 degrees celsius, I therefore had to use the aircon inside the room to cool it down, but that was also quite noisy. Also, while the bed was generally fine, the pillows were very thick and hard, very bad for the neck.
Otherwise, the main attraction of the hotel is a roof terrace with a restaurant, bar and a (minute, but clean) swimming pool - nice. The breakfast was really good. I also tried the restaurant for dinner, which was okay, but somewhat over-priced. However, with a view of the Agaean Sea, I was ready to accept it.

Room Tip: Pay the extra Euros to get a room with sea-view (and the opportunity to open the window without havi...

Stayed here for 3 nights on our way back to Athens and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very comfortable, quiet room and staff very helpful and competent. Breakfast was excellent with efficient friendly waiting staff. The rooftop bar is well worth a visit and surprisingly good value for such a location. The rooftop pool is rather small but this is a minor gripe. Overall great value and I look forward to a return visit to this interesting city.

Stayed here for two nights and really can't fault this place. Staff were very professional and helpful! Even catered for my special diet; as I'm coeliac and lactose intolerance, so just had to ask if there was any thing I needed.

Would visit again next time we are in the city. Lots of interesting places to visit and shops for all tastes. Only one negative - would choose a room at the side or back as the traffic is noisy if you have the window open, but closed it's not a problem.

Room Tip: Side or back of hotel are quieter

Electra Hotel could have the highest rating, but there were a few problems, that's why I only give 4 as a rating. Overall the hotel is nice and comfortable, and it has the best location in Thessaloniki.
The room was clear and great. The bathroom also.
We got breakfast, it was delicious and tremendous, the only problem is that if your are not wearing any Gucci or other high end clothes, you can get proper coffee... It happened to us, that we waited for coffee (asked for that 3 times) but all around us was served except us...
The wellness part of the Hotel has nothing special but it is ok.
I will go there again, but because the problem while breakfast the highest rating gone...

Room Tip: If you can choose the Executive room with sea view, it has a balcony and the view is breathtaking.
