The location is superb, bang in the middle of the city on Aristotelous Square. The rooms are pleasant enough, but the walls are paper thin. With only 2 small lifts, you have to wait quite some time before one arrives empty. The staff (except the maids) are disinterested. The views from the roof garden are fantastic, although the service was terrible; still waiting for my coffee. The "warm" breakfast was cold. I would try somewhere else before staying here again.

I stayed overnight in this hotel. It has great central location if you want to be close to shopping, bars and restaurants. The hotel decor is little old, but room was clean and good size. Too bad it didn't have sea view. I recommend a sea view room. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was huge.
Breakfast was included, and it had very rich selection. It was served at the terrace level facing a beautiful view.
Overall I recommend this hotel for a short stay.

The Electra Palace is situated right in the heart of Thessaloniki.
All the staff are friendly.
I have stayed many times on business only.
The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom fine but a little on the small side, as is the bath itself!
The restaurnat is on the top floor and has fantastic views across the bay, thf ood in the restaurant is good but not fantastic ( in my view). The restaurant is very well thought of in the community.
Breakfast is very good in the restaurant.
It has a pool but have never used it.
As it is the centre there is always plenty going in the main square outside and all the main shops are within a stones throw.
On sunday mornings a good stroll along the seafront is always a treat.

Room Tip: ask for a room with a seaview - I do not bother as I am only ever there late at night but would be w...

Stayed on a business trip for one night. Excellent service, great view on the square, friendly staff. Didn't try breakfast or other meal. Mini bar is well stocked, the beds are big and comfortable. The ground floor restaurant was closed or under renovation, but the roof garden has an amazing view!

The perfect place to stay while in Thessaloniki. It is close to everything: Market, Ladadika (restaurants, bars and taverns), the promenade along the coast from the White Tower to the Harbour. Located at Aristotelous square, with lots of food and drink places to enjoy. Excellent rooms and service, nice breakfast.

Room Tip: If you cannot get a room with sea view, get one facing Aristotelous square.

We stayed here just for the one evening in September last year, as we we're flying out the next day. The hotel is right in the heart of Thessaloniki. The atmosphere of Aristotelous Square is magical & perfect for what ever you might want to do. The hotel was comfortable, clean & the convenient location makes it worth a stay.
