cosy place just outside the byzantine walls. good selection of tasty salads and appetisers with a small selection of main courses. friendly and efficient service. no reservations accepted. cheap place but noisy. not for a romantic dinner but pretty good to go with your mates.

Lovely atmosphere and helpful staff. The food is generally good- greek flavours, occasionally with an alternative touch. However, the portions are small but the prices are high, even for the drinks, particularly beers and tsipouro.
Location is an advantage, next to the Byzantine Walls and a park. It can be crowded if you go later in the evening.

In a hot Synday noon we were wondering around in the old town and stopped there for a tsipouro. A very polite young girl served us and recommend fava (really good) and liver (extraordinary). Salads where fresh and tasty. Although we found it a bit expensive (especially the spirits) It was a place that I would visit again to try its other other dishes.

If you are visiting the castle walls at Ano Poli, you should make a stop and have a coffee or ouzo and meze at this small place. Nice food and ouzo and a relaxed atmosphere in a peaceful part of the city.
The only con is that is somehow pricey for its kind..
