The food is quite simple but it's delicious and genuinely Greek. The staff were extremely friendly and prompt (although we weren't there on busy nights). If you're looking for good Greek dishes that aren't pretentious/sophisticated/complex, then this is definitely your place

Nearby the Thessaloniki port area, there is Ladadika district, where we found many good restaurants with terrace.
We decided to give a try to Full to Meze as we saw many Greek families eating in here and every time the terrace was crowded.
We had a tasteful experience discovering the Greek cousin flavors and delicious plates.
Is not a sophisticated and elegant restaurant as many would expect, is more like an stylish tavern, with unique interior.
The walls are covered by cabinets filled with jars with pickles, tomatoes, tuna fish, canned sardines, many bottles with wine, ouzo and tsipouro, and rows of garlic and onion.
We enjoyed delicious plates as you cans see in the pictures.
Service is OK, waiters are polite, and we asked for information about clubs in Thessaloniki and they recommended a nice club.
We eat twice at Full to Meze as we liked the delicious dishes they served to us!

A very busy place, service was slow and the staff had little time to interact with the customers. The waitress taking our order managed to knock over a glass of water but when they changed the paper tablecloth they did not bother to soak up the water first. And they charge a total of 21% for service and staff holidays!
Some of the food (saganaki, a lamb casserole) was very good, the sardines were OK, but the baby kalamari and the grilled mushrooms were barely eatable. In fact the kalamari was far too dark because it was fried in overused oil. I cannot believe this place offers some of the best food in Thessaloniki.
Then it was the street vendors! A constant loop of them selling fake watches and smartphones, pirated CDs and mosquito killers. But the worst was a cacophony of sound from a folk band that would just not go away.
Overall, not a particularly enjoyable evening out in an overpriced restaurant

Very good food in a historic area of Thessaloniki. The staff is very helpful and very funny making the experience pleasant. There are many choices in the menu the vast majority of them very good. It is good for someone that wants a meze type of meal. You need to have time to enjoy it.

Yes maybe you'll wait litlle bit longer in high season and, and... Nothing more. Very nice area, very good food, very authentic place. There's only one thing I miss not only in this restaurant, but in most of greek taverns is live greek music.
