The beach is best accessible by taking the ferry from Vasiliki port rather than trying to get to it by car+walking (the road isn't all that great and neither is the walk). The ferry runs every hour and costs 6 EUR return.
The beach is really pretty but gets quite busy. You can find sunbeds and umbrellas for 6 EUR per pair, but I'm pretty sure there aren't enough there for full season number of visitors.
Speaking of facilities, this is quite a problem here. There is nowhere to buy anything, so make sure you bring your own drinks. Also, there is no toilet - again, as most beaches in Lefkada. There is nowhere to throw away your garbage, so you have to take it back with you on the ferry.
The water is calm and beautifully turquoise, full of different fish everywhere, so make sure you bring some goggles. Worth a visit if you are in the Vasiliki area.
