The day of my visit the strong winds stopped the boats accessing the beach so i had to take the "hard" way towards it. We climbed the mountain a very twisty and hard path towards the beach, but since we got there it was like heaven. Absolutely brilliant and a must-go beach in Lefkada.

This beautiful place can only be reached by boat, so if you'd like to visit it, you need to sign up for a boat trip either from Vasiliki or Nydri. In our case the boat wrecked on the beach and we have to wait for another one to pick us up, but the beach was so tranquil and peaceful we could not help but enjoy it. It is rather stony as most of the beaches on the island, but it is also quite large compared to them.

Since the 2015 earthquake, one can only reach Egremnoi beach by a boat tour. Make sure you do have one cause it is totally worth it! Egremnoi is a pure beach, without any bars etc. The boat just drops you off to admire the beautiful scenery and take a swim in those crystal clear waters. It is a unique experience. If you go on a high season, expect to see a lot of boats arriving at the same time and being around many tourists, but frankly, we were not bothered by any of this as the beach is rather big and you'll only get drawn by the scenery.

This was a second beach stop for a swim on a Five Island Cruise.
The water is crystal clear I think due to the pebbled beach. It was lovely swimming here but I don’t think I would want to come here for peace as too many cruise ships stop here.
