Good to go all year around apart from August where is crowded and very noisy , hard to find parking…But either way it is majestic to swim in those baby blue waters , lay on the sandy beach looking up to those steep cut rocks . Caution to the ones with sensitive skin due to the whitish sand and rocks the sun reflects from everywhere 15’ is more than enough to get redish….enjoy the beautiful sunset and have a drink after hours from the little bar in the rocks ..a word of advise have mosquito repellant with you . On August though at the full moon usually there’s a beach party down on the beach or up in the canteens. Did I mentioned the 150 steps? No?It’s worth it though so go prepared water food and other supplies..

“Needs to be seen to be believed”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

Porto Katsiki is a beach that needs to be seen. No photos can do it justice. The drive is long but worth it. As you emerge through the pine forest, you transcend down the winding road and see glimpses of the turquoise blue waters. When you arrive and park your car on the cliff above, you are confronted by the bright blue water, white sand, the white sheer cliff and the pine forest above set against the blue sky. In the summer months, its best to get their early, very early as the beach is small and gets busy very quickly. It is not a beach you will visit often because of its remoteness but it is a site that you should at least visit once, especially if you plan to visit Greece.

“Probably the most bautiful beach in the world”
Reviewed February 22, 2013

Way above Tripadvisor's choice of beaches for this year! Spectacular and unbelievable! See it to believe.
Phenomenal beach and scenery, warm clean sea, no jelly fish to worry, no sharks, no coral snakes nor anything else to worry. Just total enjoyment!

This beach is absolutely stunning. The walk down is admittedly not ideal but once you are there, wow. The sea is absolutely stunning, crystal blue. We were fortunate enough to be there when there was a slight breeze and it was an absolute life saver, I could imagine it to be incredibly hot otherwise. With the breeze came a nice sized wave also. Cannot recommend it highly enough

“Straight out of a postcard!”
Reviewed November 30, 2012

I couldn't believe my eyes when we peered over the cliffs onto this beach. We travel the windy roads of Leftkada in order to reach Porto Katsiki and it was worth the trip! Clear water and amazing views. This is a must see!
