Just got back from the Annaliza, absolutely amazing holiday, only negative the beds, as already stated they are getting new beds for next year, however in the interim please use the mattress on the sofa's to boost our bed, made all the difference.
Rooms - extremely spacious, with extra pillows in the wardrobe. nice balcony, pool views were obviously best, we had a side garden view which was fine, maid service second to none, cleanest Greek establishment I have ever stayed in.
Hotel staff and services - Claire, Kate, George, Dimitri all extremely helpful, happy to have a little banter, nothing too much trouble, breakfast was lovely, I tried a variety from the full English to the continental to a simple omelette. Drinks were mega strength, many thanks George and Mel for my multiple hang over's. Pool was lovely, minimal amount of sunbed's which would of been sufficient if selfish people moved their towels when not in use, My neighbours for the week, Steve, Terry, Andy, Kairen, Matt and Jo what a blast, thoroughly enjoyed your company and hope our paths cross again.
Eating out - many places had closed down, the best restaurant in Ipsos is Moby Dick, also enjoyed the food at Al's, Stalis and bar across from hotel. Evenings out, cocktails at Coccoon with the amazing Dina and Joe, footie banter at Tiffany's with a multitude of characters.
Would highly recommend this accomodation and resort and I will be returning myself next September,

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view, as they are prettier but any room here will be a bonus.

Went here with my friend at the start of September looking for a nice relaxed getaway with the option of bars etc. we are both 21 and loved it! The rooms were standard didn't expect much from what we paid. The pool area is the perfect place to relax. The people that work there made our holiday! They were very welcoming and extremely helpful. The location is very good it's a couple minutes walk from the main strip of bars/restraunts. Would definitely recommend it for a nice relaxing get away

We stayed at the Annaliza Apt Hotel on the 23rd August to the 2nd September. We cannot fault the hotel in any way, the rooms were very spacious and had a fantastic large balcony. The staff and Owner couldn't do enough for you, nothing was too much trouble. We had a side view (not pool view) it was nice and quiet and excellent place to catch the sun in the late afternoon. Claire, kate and George were an asset to the hotel. The hotel is ideally situated for the main strip and the shingle beach. We hired a boat for the day which was 80e plus fuel we sailed round the coast of the island stopping in some lovely coves, We also hired a car from just outside the hotel from a lovely lady called Elena, we hired a Susuki jeep for 2 days for 100e we travelled round the island seeing many of the sights . Food at Ipsos was very good indeed especially the Chinese restaurant and stathis which had a fantastic menu to suit all tastes, we have a fussy nine year old and he had something to eat there!!. Shops are open until very late, with various soveniers etc. We caught a bus into corfu town which is a very interesting place and the buses run about every 20mins. We would definitely recommend the Annaliza and would not hesitate to return there. - Jones Family

We have just returned from a week at the Annaliza. On the (very) positive side, have never stayed anywhere before where the staff were so friendly and willing to help with everything. Special thanks to Claire, Sophia, Mel and George who provide truly excellent customer service, 10/10.

The pool and public areas of the hotel are lovely, plenty of sunbeds and pristine condition. The breakfasts are great and having two teenagers with me it's good that you don't have to be up by 10 am so that you don't miss breakfast. They will cook it for you until lunchtime or after! There is a very extensive cocktail list, we couldn't possibly try them all! There is free wi-fi and computers are available in the reception area

Ipsos was full of Italians on scooters while we were there - so quite a lot of noise at night. The main 'strip' is very long and full of loads of restaurants and bars together with a selection of shops. The beach is narrow and shingle, but the water is crystal clear. Watersports available.

On the negative side - and this is the only reason I am giving four stars rather than five - the beds were incredibly uncomfortable and I woke every day with horrendous back pain. The apartment was basic but spacious, but no kettle in the kitchen (!), no washing up brush/cloth, tea-towels etc so difficult to keep clean in the kitchen. Maid service does not seem to extend to cleaning up the kitchen. We ate out every day so didn't use the cooker, but it was very, very basic.

Other than this, we had a great holiday and will certainly consider returning to the Annaliza, but would ask that mattress toppers be made available as the uncomfortable beds resulted in lack of proper sleep.

Just to reiterate though, FABULOUS staff!

Room Tip: Try to get a pool view, lovely to relax on the balcony late in the evening
