I had an impression that there's no other places like this.
I was amazed by the master peace of water. It's is wonderful!!!
And if you stayed at another part of the island, as we do, you must take a scooter and just take a look.
I really love Corfu, it is paradise for me!!!

Just returned from Sidari spending two weeks at this resort. Sidari is a one street town which starts to close down in early to mid October. Bars and shops are 75% closed at least the last week in October.
Sidari attracts mainly British tourists which is reflected of products sold in the bars and cafes in this seaside town in the sun. The sea views are amazing and you can see Albania. Many sun beds are available on the beach and are available for the price of a drink. There are a number of attraction in Sidari including the beautiful canal d mour which attracts families and couples alike. I personally found walking in Sidari very limited due to the pavements and roads because once you have walked around Sidari for a day or two you have generally seen everything.
Unfortunately a large rubbish tip is on view in the town behind the taxi rank and next to the Smartline mimosa hotel. This produces many flies, wasps which bite and a stinking odour which is very unpleasant throughout Sidari.
Sidari could do with a good clean up and a lot of TLC since open rubbish tips are blatantly on view throughout Corfu.
It is very unlikely I will ever return to Corfu.

We drove through what we will call the high street. Anyone who has seen TV programs about Benidorm, Torromolinos, and/or similar towns would immediately recognise the type of resort that Sidari is. Cafés offering English Breakfast, karaoke evenings, bingo events, English beer (yes, even with the make mentioned), etc.
The signs are mainly in English, there is a pub that is called "Dirty xxx" (xxx is the name of a woman, a name that we cannot mention here), etc.
Look on YouTube and play the Sidari by night videos, if you have any doubt of what we describe. Of course, some people love this. That's why these places thrive. If you don't, don't go there.

We must of picked the wrong time to go to the Sidari waterpark! So much to moan about but I literally can’t be bothered to waste anymore time on this place! Don’t visit this hotel at the end of September onwards! The only reason they accommodated us was purely because of the terms and conditions they have with TUI! They wanted the hotel shut and made us feel very unwelcome and a complete inconvenience to them!! We paid full price for this holiday and yet we had no night time entertainment not even an explanation and were emptying the hotel around us so they could start renovations! They didn’t even bother opening the water slides some days or they would wait to see if groups of people would enter the hotel to make it worth while for them to have the slides on so some days they wouldn’t even switch them on till gone 1:00 and then off at 4:00, my daughter would sit and wait in hope they would get switched on earlier! The closest beach maybe 15mins but it’s dirty so I would walk an extra 15mins to get to a half decent beach at that! I literally could go on and on but I’m grateful to just get home and put it behind us!! thankfully we did get upgraded the second we checked in, good job really because if they put us in the original rooms I would of checked out and stayed somewhere else!! Sidari waterpark has underlying issues with TUI! (Owners/managers own words) I will never visit Corfu or use TUI again! To add insult to injury, Corfu have landfill problems at the moment so they have mountains up on mountains of rubbish and this is causing a huge fly problem

The positives of this place are firstly the Greek people who were all warm, friendly and helpful. Secondly the excursions we took to get out of the place were all well thought out and organised. The trips to Kassiopi, Perithia and Palaiokastrista were particularly good and we got to experience traditional Greek food without Pukka pies,Sky Sports or drunken Karaoke singers. On the basis of these other places,
I would like to return to Corfu but I will be giving Sidari a miss.

Quieter resort However we did go out of season, lovely beach and plenty of water sports to do. Ideal for children as waters edge is quite shallow for a while and gradually goes deeper. Plenty of eating places on the beach.

Always loved Sidari until this year.... it’s as if the streets & pavements have had no cleaning & maintenancy since we went in Sept 2017! While some of the bars & restaurants are lovely & do their best in cleaning their own frontages you don’t have to walk far away to see the filth lining the gutters, fag ends, etc & the general bad state of the pavements & rubbish filled nooks & crannies. Walking further afield we found a phone box full of rubbish then horror of horrors a huge stinking waste pile at the bottom
End of the Main Street! That was it for us, we will not be coming to Corfu again. Disgusted that this beautiful island is becoming a huge stinking waste repository all over which was apparent on our trips out..with all the associated health risks! The corfiots people should be ashamed!!

Been to sidari corfu 8 times now & until this year we have loved it , The reason for this is that corfu has a massive rubbish problem that's been going on for the last 3 years but this year has got so bad it smells really bad .The problem steams from corfu being a small island & where the bin men used to take the rubbish the people living near it have had enough & it can't be shipped off the island to the mainland so the resorts have all been allocated a central dumping ground & sidari' s is in a car park right in the middle of the resort so after a long hot summer the smell makes you feel sick & is a health hazard. Sidari needs a lot of money spending on it as the pavements & roads are really bad with big potholes in the road & really dodgy pavements which seems to be getting worse each year . The sellas hotel & apartments we stay at every year is still very basic but still very clean & friendly place . The maids come in every day & are lovely ladies who do a fab job & sidari has some lovely places to eat like the orchard restaurant, the garden & mammas to name just 3 but sadly due to the rubbish problem we won't be going back & that's something we never thought we would ever say . We've loved you sidari & hope to hear one day this problem is sorted so we can come on here & say you back to what you used to be

My wife and I have recently spent a week in this wonderful resort, whether you are looking for a lively evening out or a relaxing beach holiday Sidari has it all.
the beach is very clean and there are a number of watersports available (Jet Ski, Parascending, and various boats and inflatables for hire. The shoreline has a gentle slope so paddling and swimming for little one's is safe and free of Jelly fish (whilst we were there).
