We got back from these appartments on saturday 15th sept 2012. They are very clean, and pleasant. I was very surprised at how big and spacious they are, as we booked a studio, and it was actually more like a one bed appartment. Very basic, but clean and servicable furnishings. bathrooms are very, very slippery, due to being completely tiled, floor to ceiling, with only a shower tray in the corner of the room, . there was no shower curtain or screen, which meant we had to take the mop into the shower , ready to clean up the floor before getting out, as it was quite dangerously wet once the HAND shower had been used. I reccomend taking a small rubber mat with you to put on bathroom floor. The shower was very annoying, as it is only a hand one attached to the wall, and if you are lucky, you get hot water, as it seems to depend on wether you get a shower before the other guests use theirs. It is very good value, and good quality food served in the restaurant, and much cheaper than the restaurants in the town. It takes a half hour to walk into sidari from the appartments(we timed it), and is along a road that is not very well lit at night, so take atorch so cars can see you, and you can see the way! there are two reasonable super markets along this road, about 15 mins away from the site. they are cheaper and better stocked than the little ones in the town. English tea bags seemed to mainly be liptons yellow lable, (YUK"). so take your own with you. The owners of the appartments are really pleasant, helpful people, nothing is too much trouble. the maid is a very nice, friendly lady, who always smiles and tries to help you, even tho' her English is basic. George and Lia, the owners, speak excellent English, so no problems understanding etc. On the whole, we really liked these appartments, but the location would put us off going again. its hard work walking back from Sidari in the heat, and although it is in a very quiet location, (furthest point out of town), it was a bit too far out for us. restaurants in the town are good, but prices vary a lot for same meals, so shop around. shopping in the town is disappointing, it i consists of nothing but tourist gift shops. for any thing decent, you have to drive to corfu town, 45 mins away by car, or an hour and 15 mins by bus, ( if bus actually turns up!) Some lovely plces to visit, but Sidari beach is not very nice, gritty shingle, and it lets the resort down. for better beaches, the west of the island is gorgeous!! If you do go to Corfu, do the day tip to Albani. its a real e.ye opener, a new " virgin " culture emerging from an ex eastern block country. I would love to return in 10 15 years time and see the out come of all the modernaisation and building progets they are undertaking. Happy holidays!!

Room Tip: if you want a quiet room, try studio number 20, or appartments 18, 19 . very nice scenery , away f...

I stayed here with my family a good few years back, but i will never forget the trip, there was me, my dad, step mum, brother, two cousins, their parents, and our grandparents. We had 3 apartments, all of which were to a high standard and very clean. The shower wasn't the best at all honest, it was a dribble of cold water and I did find a lizard in my shower one day, but we're abroad so that was inevitable. Bathroom needed updating was dark with only a small window at the top and cracked tiles. The rooms were lovely. Maid or Spiros would hand me or my grandma a flower every day without fail. They were so lovely and friendly and treated us like part of the family. For us younger ones there wasn't much appeal outside of the hotel, beach was nice, but we stayed for two weeks and there wasn't much to do but walk around a very small town so took a few excersions to water parks etc. The staff make the holiday to be honest, I still have my spiros number one blue vest top for the good memories. I would strongly recommend. We went self catering, so can't comment on food.

Having stayed in various apartment complexes within Greece and her Islands, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Spiros Apartments in relation to the price being at the lower end of the market.
George and Leah were very welcoming at the outset. Their Greek night food and entertainment was really good.
The apartments were a little way from the centre of Sidari, which we liked as it was extremely peaceful. We enjoyed the walk into the main strip which had plenty of restaurants and tribute acts on a nightly basis.
Also thoroughly enjoyed the Greek food at local tavernas. For those not adventurous with food, there are lots of other cuisines available. All were reasonably priced.
In the future, when travelling to Corfu again, I will definitely return to the Spiros Apartments.

Room Tip: We asked for a room away from the pool area, which was met. Think it could get a bit noisy as some...

We stayed in July 2012 for two weeks, and was our first visit to Corfu.
All the way through our stay, George, Leah and Ria made us feel very welcome. As it was my birthday while we were on holiday Ria gave me some flowers and put them in our room, which was lovely. Everyone one who worked at the hotel were lovely and worked hard to make sure that our stay was enjoyable;which it was. The pool at the hotel was lovely and clean, it was also big so it didn't get over crowded. There were enough sunbeds around the pool which meant that we didn't have to get up early and reserve them like we have had to in all of the hotels that we have stayed at before. Evening entertainment while we were there was greek night, the dancing and food was fabulous, and definitely worth the money. Everybody had a great time.
The apartments was located about 15-20 minute walk to the beach, where there were plenty of good restaurants and bars. We would definitely visit again. Thanks for a great stay from the Tinker family.

This is the 8th time we have stayed here since finding it, by chance, in September 2005. And what a find it was ! Jackpot joy! We try to stay here twice a year but because it's so popular we've not always been able to get in. Over the last 2 - 3 years we secure our reservations early to make sure that we get to stay here. My wife and I have stayed in other nice apartments in Sidari but Spiros Apartments definitely tops the list for us.
Located in a quieter part of the countryside, it's situated about a mile from the centre of Sidari and it has all the facilities you need. Supermarkets, restaurants, bars, beach and shops are only a short walk away.
The hosts, George and Evagalia ( Lia for short ) are very friendly, extremely welcoming and are quite willing to do all they can to ensure that your time there is as pleasurable and hassle-free as possible. They work very hard, as do their staff ( Ria, Evelyn et al ), to make certain that everyone there has a lovely and really enjoyable time.
All apartment blocks are kept very clean, the bar and restaurant is large and spacious with excellent food and drink at very reasonable prices.
We often see the same customers year after year who, like us, get hooked and always try to re-visit because they've enjoyed it so much. We've had a fabulous 3 weeks at Spiros Apartments and, guess what, we're going back for another 3 weeks in September 2012.
Can't beat it ! Great for couples and families !

Room Tip: As room numbers go higher this increases the distance from the bar/restaurant.

We stayed here for two weeks in June 2011, George and Leah were great and very warm and welcoming. We had a blast and we met some great people.

The food was lovely and reasonably priced and the rooms were great.

The apartments were away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Sidari which was great (esp if you had a hangover and needed some quiet time lol)

Ria was an absolute delight and done everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Would love to get back here sometime soon.

Room Tip: try get a studio at the back of the complex on the bottom floor
