This is one of the best hotels I have ever visited. The manager and the team draw you by their warm welcome, their smile, their patience, their permanent availability to offer you the information needed. For them, the full satisfaction of their guests is their first concern. As per the cleanliness and the breakfast it's more than excellent. In addition the location is ideal, right on the Spianada Square, the city center, the liveliest area of Corfu. And if I have to return to Corfu this hotel will be my favorite place to stay.

Room tip: Higher floors have good views

This hotel is in a terrific location! It is right in the heart of everything in Corfu Town. It’s walking distance to several bars and restaurants and also has a great view. In addition to that, the front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They provided lots of great information on everything from transportation recommendations to restaurants. My next time in Corfu, I’ll definitely be looking to stay here again.

We visited on a short break. The hotel is right in the centre of town facing the old fortress and the largest square in Greece and is just minutes from the airport taxi rank and a multitude of shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and very clean and surprisingly quiet. We slept well. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was plentiful and offered a variety of gReek specialities as well as the usual fare.

We spent four nights here in the off-season and found the location to be absolutely stellar! It’s steps away from the cafes along the Liston and from numerous shops, restaurants, cafes, and sights in the old town. We spent a few extra Euros to book rooms at the front of the hotel with views of the old fortress, and were we ever glad we did! Our room was on the first floor and the view was terrific. Family members were on the fifth floor and, although their room was less spacious, the view was even more amazing with about 150 degrees of ocean. It was fun to sit on the balcony and watch the ferries come and go! Both rooms had private balconies, but theirs had two of them! The rooms are furnished comfortably and simply with custom-made furniture from Corfu. Most days there were treats left to enjoy - fresh apples or candied kumquats, a local specialty. The bed was actually two twins pushed together, and not a king, but was fine. Both rooms had ample space for luggage and plenty of hanging space for clothing. The bathroom had a mounted hair dryer, bath gel, soap, shoe shine kit, shower cap, etc. As with so many hotels in Greece, plumbing is an issue, so waste paper cannot be disposed in the toilet. This is not that unusual a circumstance and not a ding on this hotel. Beds were comfortable, and the shutters and blackout curtains provided a nice, dark space for sleep. Breakfast was more limited in choice than larger hotels, but the quality was very high. Warm baguettes were frequently replenished, as were the excellent fried eggs, which were very popular! The kitchen staff worked extremely hard to keep everything well-stocked. We were also pleased with the congeniality and helpfulness of the reception staff, who provided us with great restaurant recommendations and also told us about life on the island. They are most willing to provide baggage storage, which we needed upon arrival. The hotel is across the street from a taxi stand and major bus stop. The park is at the doorstep. All in all, we felt this hotel was an incredible bargain for the money. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
