“Amazing - village vibe, beautiful, relaxing, clean, fab food, ace beaches and stunning bays !”
Reviewed June 8, 2014

What a stunning little place, magical by night with the taverna lights shimmering in the water in the bay, boats bob up and down in the candle light and a quiet but cute buzz fills the harbour from the restaurants and bars.
Slow paced and chilled for drinks, fab cocktails and plentiful restaurants, some standing out in the crowd which are a welcome break from the traditional Greek taverna if you are staying for longer than a few days, by day the beaches up in the headland are a must, lined with bleached rock formations and clear waters, ideal for a spot of fishing or rock climbing with a net, sunbeds line the rocks to the east of the village and are very reasonably priced for the day and if you fancy a trip around the other bays surrounding the cove - Agni, Nissaki etc you can easily hire a boat from Flippos in the marina, alternatively you can organise a trip with cosmos in the village whom also do a night trip to Corfu under the stars. If you are looking for a relaxed break, good food, chilled nightlife and some amazing water to dip your toe into - this is the place for you ! Xx

“Idyllic Villa Aphrodite Kassiopi”
Reviewed June 2, 2014

We have just returned from a one weeks family holiday in Kassiopi. We stayed in Villa Aphrodite up a steep hill at the entrance to the harbour, with amazing views . We travelled as three families, grandparents, mams and dads and grandchildren. The villa was perfect for us, 4 bedroomed over three floors ,second floor was the living area with kitchen ,dining and sitting area with balconies . There was a beautiful swimming pool with good quality sun loungers,BBQ area, and tables and chairs scattered all around, very well designed and very safe for children . Although the hill is very steep it is only 50 metres long but would be unsuitable for the elderly and disabled to walk up and down. We hired a 7 seater van which we could park within the gates of the villa. Kassiopi itself is a charming little fishing village plenty of restaurants and local shops , the most amazing bakery where you can buy fresh croissants ,bread, pizzas, cakes. The residents were very friendly and helpful and they like children. There is no immediate beach but travel a short distance and you can find some lovely ones.it is 1hours drive from Corfu Town which is well worth a visit, where you can stroll though the narrow streets reminiscent of Venice. The weather was just warming up nicely , by the time we left on May 26th it was 27degrees and sunny. You can take a boat trip from Kassiopi to Corfu Town and you can also hire a boat for the day for 80 euros. The exchange rate in town was 121 euros to the pound which was more than we got at home. The only advice I will give if hiring a vehicle is to take photos of all the dents and scrapes around your vehicle as they did try to tell us that we had dented our van, but once we showed them the photos we had taken when we collected the car, they dropped the matter. All in all a wonderful holiday had by all age groups and we would definitely return.we hired the villa through Meonvillas and flew with Thomas Cooke who were excellent and we had a brand new aeroplane which knocked 25 minutes off the flight time.

“Lovely resort”
Reviewed May 18, 2014

Really nice wee resort with charm and character. Has a nice wee harbour and the main street area has enough shops and bars to have a wee stroll through without being stuck in a resort with just one street. Its not big but its nice.
