Beautiful place went there to pray for my sick husband, the nuns and the priest were so kind. The prayers worked as my husband improved enough to fly home

Had a great day visiting the ruins of this castle. Free entrance and a good place to explore. Would recommend visiting as soon as it is opened as it did get really hot as the morning wore on. Be sure to finish your visit with a meal in the small restaurant called the castle. The service was exceptional and the food divine. We were greeted with an iced glass of water before we had a chance to even sit down, this was really appreciated as it was so hot. We were kept supplied with iced jugs of water all through the meal. Service was quick and efficient. Would return to this restaurant for lunch if we visited the island again.

Amazing place, if you get the chance to go it's a real must. We went on a Sunday, which I wouldn't recommend as there was a Sunday service going on and we felt like we were intruding. The monastery is beautiful, absolutely stunning. I really can't describe how amazing it is, just go and see for yourself if you get the chance.

Impressive church covered in impressive artwork. However, as in common with all other attractions on the island, there is no information about what you're looking at, and nothing to tell you about the monastery/ nunnery. Very frustrating. They also need to open a cafe there!
