Hotel is perfectly placed in the truly central area of pedestrian street by the sea.
From my point of view its a 3+ stars hotel (dont know officially).
Room was cleaned every day and nobody disturbed us in the late morning. Stuff is very friendly with unexpectedly good knowledge of English.
The Hotel is too far away from nearest good beaches so if you have plans for swimming, car is best option. Chalkida is nice and enjoyable but not really a traditional turistic place. There are some shopping streets less than five minutes walking from hotel but without some great variaty in shops or brands.

Pros:
- Exceptional Location
- Free WIFI
- Good Service
- Great room view
-

Cons:
- No parking space

The Hotel is in downtown . Easy to reach. Close to various restaurants, snack bars, cafe's..etc. the rooms are clean, silent. The rooms have an amazing sight. I stayed 4 times in there in different time intervals I advise this hotel.

Room Tip: The rooms looking the walking street have better view.

I was a bit reluctant about what we would face here since the reviews were not exactly amazing. Fortunately I was happily surprised!

This was a great experience. The hotel is in the middle of this exceptional pedestrian road in front of the sea, on a corner. Yes, there is no parking as I saw in the reviews beforehand but we found a place on the road near there, so this didn't create a problem for us. It also has all the coffee shops and restaurants very close, there is one just outside the hotel and a lot to choose from around.

I had asked for a sea view room and we got one on the 4 floor. If you check the photos you will see what I mean, it was beautiful. A small balcony with a pair of chairs and a small table, I enjoyed my coffee looking at the sea and didn't want to leave the chair. This was really worth it.

The room itself was spacious and the decoration was not bad, it felt nice inside (photos available also). We didn't see any dirt as I had read, on the contrary the bathroom was shining. This was a great surprise also. The wifi was good and included in the price, At night, since it was summer and we chose to keep the window open for fresh sea breeze there was some noise but this didn't annoy us much.

The breakfast room was ok (check fotos), the windows are overlooking the city, nothing special. The decoration was this of a decent hotel and the breakfast, although not exceptional as mentioned by other visitors, was decent too. A nice touch was the availability of the special hot sand ("chovoli") and other cutlery for making a great Greek coffee - I, on the other hand, enjoyed a nice cup of instant coffee which I prefer. There was just one - polite - person to serve the tables and there was some gathering in the next room so I guess that's why he looked so anxious to manage all.

Overall I would stay here again and I would recommend it. I think this hotel would be a reason to choose Chalkida as a short distance destination from Athens again.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view room and maybe on a high floor, it's totally worth it.

Dear K_Maria_Athens,

Even our photographer would not do such a nice shooting for us...ha ha ha
Thank you very much for your nice words about our hotel. The picture you faced is different from the other reviewers since we always change things and make them better and better for all of you.
The parking is still one problem although you were of the lucky ones. We are happy that you liked the room and sure about the view you had. we try as much as we can to give rooms with sea view to our clients in order to have the same pleasant surprise you had. we hope to see you again...soon!!!

Best Regards
Ria.

The hotel is perfectly located with a nice view to the sea. The rooms were clean and the service nice. The breakfast was also fine with the exception of coffee which was not so good. The only disadvantage is the lack of parking, since the hotel is centraly located, in a relatively crowded part of the city.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view to the sea.

Dear Mariangela F,

Thank you for your nice words and happy you have this experience in our hotel.
We do our best to offer you what you deserve to have...a home away of home.
We have a lot of things to make better but slowly everything will be as it should be.
Although you had a pleasant stay with us, the main drawback mentioned is our worry this period and we will try to find a solution the soonest possible. Chalkida is really overcrowded especially in the morning and weekends. there are places to park from the other side of the bridge but we really want to find a closer solution as well. Till the next time you come here. we hope we will have this solved.

Best Regards
Ria.

Location is very good. Nice view over the old bridge and the sea. around the hotel lots of bars & restaurants in a pedestrian area.
Rooms somewhat outdated but clean. Breakfast rather simple. Staff OK but nothing more or less. .
No parking space. . . Parked the car at a private parking in the neighbourhood and had to pay 12€ for 1 night.
Hotel generally does not give you a pleasant feeling.

Dear Dirk M ,

Thank you for your message and for your words about our hotel.
Things mentioned are changing day by day. You will see the changes soon.
Generally in our city the main problem is the parking space. We are under some thoughts of solving this the soonest but it is not so easy to find the best solution when you have to do with exterior partners. you will have soon our feedback. Another solution is to leave the car from the other side of the bridge where it is a little easier to find a space, near the fish tavernas but you should walk a little till you reach our hotel...

Best Regards
Ria

I stayed in this hotel for about 2 weeks. Everything was perfect except breakfast which was nothing special. My room was clean and comfy. Location is really good. Internet is free. I was usually having dinner in hotel's restaurant. Delicious dishes but a little bit pricey.

The hotel is located at Chalkida's bay. Many rooms have perfect view to the sea and the old bridge. That's the good part.
Rooms need redecoration. Some of the may be quite old, plumbing also.
Breakfast is ok. Also free wifi for hotel guests. Recommended for a short visit.
