Parga itself is a lovely place for a holiday and Valtos beach is a good choice for accommodation. It's nothing luxurious but cosy with relaxed atmosphere. We had a perfect family holiday with 2 kids and enjoyed fully our stay in this hotel. Could easily come back and choose the same hotel again.

Room Tip: If you have young kids you might want to consider room close to pool. Otherwise you will have a lot of stairs to climb.

We went to Parga as an 8 person family group, ranging in age from 2 toddler children to
grandad and grandmas with three 30-40 year olds in between.

The family run hotel was very clean, comfortable, and just a few steps away from the sandy beach with its inviting turquoise sea. The owners and staff were especially friendly and
helpful. The food at the hotel was good with plenty of choices. The red wine, from the owners`
vineyards was delicious.

The hotel pool was clean and good to relax in after the heat of the mid-day sun!
The Greek evenings every Wednesday evening were good fun with tasty barbecue and dancing.

A walk uphill took us into Parga Town with its buzzy atmosphere and many cocktail bars and tavernas to choose from. Pastel coloured houses perched on the hills around town, whilst local shops offered many attractive goods for sale. A small harbour had boats bobbing in the translucent water, offering trips to nearby islands.

The perfect hotel for a family holiday
The resort was ideal for all age groups...I wish we could have stayed longer!

Room Tip: An easy climb up some steps to our rooms at the top part of the hotel was very worthwhile, with beautiful views of the seaside as well as the brightly coloured flowers and trees within the hotel grounds. The air-conditioning in our rooms was very pleasing too!

Stayed at this hotel as a family with 2 children and can honistly say we couldn't fault the hotel. The owners and staff work tirelessly to make sure you have what you need and are very warm and friendly. Exellent location on Valtos beach and within easy walking distance to Parga Town. Stayed SC but ate several meals there of which the quality and standard were exceptional. Really enjoyed the Greek Night on wednesdays. Great hotel and great holiday.

A friend recommended Parga to me as a typical Greek resort and we researched Hotels and found Hotel Valtos Beach through Trip advisor. This was a holiday with my best friend to celebrate out 40th so needed to be special. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with open arms and felt part of the Gogozotos family. We had a lemon tree right outside our room, perfect for a gin and tonic. The whole family and staff are amazing and could teach the service industry in the UK a thing or two.
Greek night is a must, we didnt feel like a tourist on a trip but as part of their extended family as all their friends arrived and was like Christmas day with all the family round singing and dancing.
Both myself and my friend have travelled all around the world but this is the only place I felt like part of the family and not like a tourist.
We walked twice a day into Parga and yes there is lots of steps but we knew that before we went, and if there was no steps then it would be another faceless flat resort with no stunning amazing views. On the walk into Parga you can stop into various bars and restaurants which you would miss if you were staying in town.
Would I return? Oh yes..........
Thank you for an amazing holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Returned from Parga last Sunday where we stayed at the Valtos Beach Hotel. We had stayed many times in Parga so decided to try the Valtos side this time. We were not disappointed at all. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the family so friendly, all the staff excelled themselves especially Alex, the Barman. We had a studio,144, which had excellent views of the bay and got the sun all day.The cleaners came every day and changed the bedding and towels twice a week.
We will definatley return here and would recommend it to all. The family works very hard to keep this lovely place running and it was a joy to see mama and papa still keeping their hand in. There are quite a few steps in the hotel but will keep you fit and you can take your time.

Room Tip: studios 143,144,145 all good size and views.
