“Thank you for making our holidays memorable”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2011

We have just stayed at the Dracos for the first time and personally i dont think that
there is a better hotel in Parga. We had read lots of reviews before we booked so we had an idea of what to expect really,as some reviews were very helpful.
The place is spotless and peacefull. The staff work hard to make sure that we have a great holiday.
The hotel is modern, comfortable and clean. Bed and towels changed regularly, and they even folded up our clothes.
We stayed in the annex (room 310) and the room was large, well equipped and nicely decorated.
Also food and service at the pool bar is great. The pool area is very clean and quiet, with a good number of sun loungers available.
It is only 15mins walk from the beach and harbour.
The best restaurant in Parga, The 5 Senses, is very close to the hotel and we would strongly recommend that you ate there, the food and wine is absolutely
gorgeous. Very good food and excellent service with best prices

Just go there and you will love it.
We can't wait to go back soon.

Quite simply, there is nowhere else we would stay! It takes us just 5 minutes to relax when we arrive here. The hotel is just such a lovely place, a bit like an upmarket Athens boutique hotel in Parga! You won't struggle to find sun loungers around the pool, most mornings, we were the only ones there. The rooms are kept spotless by wonderful maids. We hardly moved from the pool for the 2 weeks we stayed. The food at the pool was perfect and the staff are just amazing. All in all, just perfect. A big thank you to Dimitris and his wonderful team.

Stayed for 2 weeks from 10th July. As all the other reviews say it is an absolutely fabulous place to stay. About 20mins stroll down to town taking a bit longer on the way back because its up hill, the staff are lovely so helpful and very hard working. Christina at the pool bar is amazing and the menu is great , with very large portions, you can share and still be full !! And Thimios who worked the bar from 1.30pm to 1.00am is great. I would reccommend the Dracos to anyone the rooms are immaculate and the bathroom is a wet room, a bonus in Greece because sometimes you dont even get a shower curtain. We would give this place full marks and would not hesitate to return here. Give it a try you wont be dissapointed...we certainly weren't :-)

We have just stayed at the Dracos for the fith time and personally i dont think you could
there is a better hotel in Parga for the money.

The place is spotless and very peacefull.
The food and service at the pool bar is great.

This year, Dimitri put some entertainment on, this wasnt your typical greek night, it was a guy and a girl one guitar. They were brilliant.

If your going to try a boat trip, I advise you to go on the Marco Polo as you can lie down up on deck and chill out. This year we saw dolphins which was fantastic.

Some of our favourite restaraunts are Perivoli, Dimitris & Sakis.

I could go on for ever about parga.
I have been to a lot of the greek islands and they all great but Parga has a bit of what all the islands have in one place.

We will be going back and we will be staying at the Dracos.

Dimitris, a little gym would be nice!

Can not fault the place, clean, comfortable, modern and most of all full of nice guests and staff.
No point in me stating what others have already done about the pool, cleaners, quality of the place- just go and see for yourself, this set up is a total absolute credit to the owners.

The town is fantastic, restaurants galore, we done a "restaurant night" followed by a "cheap and cheerful kebab night", that way you appreciate the food on offer at the restaurants, the Thomas Cook Rep, Steve is a very nice guy who helps out anyone.
Hired a car, found some deserted beaches and had a day out at Meteora, in my opinion a bit to far, but don't let that put people off, it was very nice. Cost me 100 euros in petrol to get there and back plus car hire, so if anyone is thinking then consider a coach trip, you will probably see more and be a little more chilled letting some one else do the driving.
Off now to book the Dracos for next year.
Nigel

We have just returned from the dracos yesterday,it was our first time visiting parga. as soon as we first saw the hotel we were immediatley impressed with its beauty and cleanliness. Our room was 209 overlooking the pool area with views of all the mountains and olive groves, absolutely magnificent. We had read lots of reviews before we booked so we had an idea of what to expect really,as some reviews were very helpful. We did not have any problems at all during our stay so little opportunity to converse with the staff in general.None of the staff attempted to make small talk and only spoke when we spoke to them first, however they were all very polite. if not somewhat reserved. The pool was packed most days on our second week ,though it was almost always possible to acquire a sun bed ,the only downside for us is that there were a lot of kids making a lot of noise which spoilt the tranquility and relaxation aspect. If we were to go again we would maybe go earlier when its a little quieter. The hotel has a ginger cat that is so friendly it talks to you and we enjoyed watching the 2 ponies in the wooded area opposite,or were they donkeys? we also saw a snake one day but the poor thing got itself run over! The walk up the track to the hotel wasnt too bad really, although anyone elderly or with walking difficulties may find if a bit tough so i would recommend choosing a hotel closer to the town such as Alfa or Andreas. The walk from the hotel into the town centre took us around twenty minutes as we chose to walk the back way past the Perivoli and Y annis restaurants as it was a lot more pleasant than using the main road, We can easily understand why so many holiday makers return to Parga and the Dracos. we certainly loved our holiday over all and would possibly return too in the future.

Room Tip: pool view rooms were best
