Alan and I really enjoyed our visit and found it extremely interesting and informative. I had no idea about the way the olives were processed into oil in the old days. All our questions were answered with a smile. The exhibits and the photographs were very well presented.
The tasting at the end of our visit was very enjoyable too.

A great place to go to understand some of the history of the area and the olive oil process. A very relaxing break from the heat and sun

Fell upon this by accident. It was about 4pm and there were only the two of us. We had the guided tour and I would suggest this was the best way most informative. Fascinating to listen to the history and how olive oil is produced- I always thought the trees were shaken and the olives dropped off - so wrong. Not only do you get a tour but it ends with a tasting of the oils. Went back the following evening and bought two bottles of the lemon flavoured oil. Lovely.

This is a very informative and well worth visit for anyone who up until coming here thought all olive oil was the same

My view of the exhibition and in order to counter the comment" its rather basic" is to say that it does what it says on the tin - and how much whistles and flutes can you put together to explain the origins of this museum and its place within the community of Parga and in particular the family that own it.

My wife and i loved it - and having chance to meet the owner and talk to him about other various facets of the olives journey from field to bottle made it extra interesting

The olive oil is very good - we buy ours normally from a small farm - similar to this owners one - in Crete -but maybe we have found a new supplier !

Don't come here expecting a Science Museum type experience - you wont get one.

What you will get is a genuine attempt to ensure that the importance of the humble olive to the economy of not just Parga but to many other areas of Greece is not forgotten and that the ancient skills used to bring the oil to our tables over the years are not lost and consigned to history

We visited here whilst on holiday at the end of May and thoroughly enjoyed it, we didn't realise it was a "guided" tour until we got to the entrance and had paid but this was ok, There were already 6 couples waiting when we arrived (about 1.30pm) so we paid and then the tour started, it was very very informative and interesting (even our 10yr old daughter said she enjoyed it) and we enjoyed the olive oil tasting and shop at the end, In total I suppose we spent about an hour and 15 mins in here, but presume you can take longer if you want to peruse the displays etc for a bit longer, at only 3 euros 50 each it was well worth a visit and I would recommend if you want a change for a couple of hours from the beach and or pool.
