“Up the hill extraordinery view”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

This hotel was excellent! Please note that the only way to access is going up a very steep hill so if you have problems with walking you should probably avoid staying here, but if not we can only congratulate you to staying at a very cosy and clean family run hotel with a fantastic panorama view from the balconies. If possible, try to getbroom nb 7, probably the best view of all.

The breakfast was home made and different every day, specialities from Greece.

Room Tip: Room nb 7 gives a great view of the sea

The view is amasing. Sitting on the balcony looking at it keeps your worries away. The view is probably best from room 7.8.9 we lived on room 7. Breakfast consist of a glas of juice. Coffee or the and white bread and cheese jam and ham. Then you get diffrent disches everyday. Fried egg. Crepes with cream and nutella my favorite cheese pie and greek pasteries got 2 more days left. Free wifi. Not more than 5 min to parga harbour. If i went back to parga i would live here again. Negative: beds arnt the best. No pool

We booked this hotel through our charter company. The location is very good, it is a 5 min walk to the Krioneri beach and also not very far to the centre of Parga. If you have a car this hotel is really good, because there is a parking on the top. Otherwise it is very hard to find a parking space i Parga, especially later on in the afternoon. Might also be good to know that it is a very steep slope up to the hotel, not very long but very steep.

This is a very hospitable hotel and run by Maria who is really lovely. She also makes the breakfast, which is absolutely a dream. First of all you get a bread basket and then some cooked meal, sometimes pancakes, sometimes toast, sometimes greek youghurt or something else. And then a fruit basket. Different cooked meals every day of the week. Excellent. If you are going out earlier one day you can also tell Maria the day before and either she starts breakfast earlier or she makes a food package for you.

All people working in the hotel are lovely people, though. When we were sitting on the terrace we were offered juice just because it was so hot, just out of hospitality.

Might be good to know that there are a lot of cats and kittens in the restaurant. Good or bad? Depends I suppose if you like cats. They make sure to come to breakfast if you want to give them something.

There were also free wi-fi. I couldn't get it in our room, my husband got some connection on the balcony. It depends on your phone or computer. But you have connection if you keep close to the reception or the terrace near the reception. If the internet is out one day, tell Maria, because the cats sometimes knocks the wi-fi over.

The rooms were quite all right as well. There was a TV and the bathroom was clean. The bed was the worst part, though. It was so hard that both me and my husband had difficulties sleeping. It felt as if there was missing a mattress, as from what we are used to from home. But all the people we have spoken to afterwards say it is the same everywhere you go in Greece, not just Agnanti or Parga. So I guess that's something you have to stick with.

Otherwise there were only minor flaws, such as one of the two lamps going out in our toilet. I noticed it shortly before we were going home and should of course have told about it, but I totally forgot. However our room was cleaned every day, so one might think that the cleaning lady would notice it.

To sum up:

Positive things:
- Breakfast
- Friendly staff
- Free wi-fi

Negative things:
- Hard beds

This new resort was excellent for us when we visited there at august-september last year 2011.
Situatin of this place was great at hillside near Piso Krioneri beach and harbour of Parga, only couple of minutes walk those both. Despite the location Agnanti has still its own peace in the hill.
All rooms face the sea and had spectacular views.
Service at the hotel was everything that we needed. Breakfast is included in the price and it was freshly prepared, served at table, and it was different and very good every morning.
Thank you Maria and staff, see you next august.
