We booked this hotel through our charter company. The location is very good, it is a 5 min walk to the Krioneri beach and also not very far to the centre of Parga. If you have a car this hotel is really good, because there is a parking on the top. Otherwise it is very hard to find a parking space i Parga, especially later on in the afternoon. Might also be good to know that it is a very steep slope up to the hotel, not very long but very steep.
This is a very hospitable hotel and run by Maria who is really lovely. She also makes the breakfast, which is absolutely a dream. First of all you get a bread basket and then some cooked meal, sometimes pancakes, sometimes toast, sometimes greek youghurt or something else. And then a fruit basket. Different cooked meals every day of the week. Excellent. If you are going out earlier one day you can also tell Maria the day before and either she starts breakfast earlier or she makes a food package for you.
All people working in the hotel are lovely people, though. When we were sitting on the terrace we were offered juice just because it was so hot, just out of hospitality.
Might be good to know that there are a lot of cats and kittens in the restaurant. Good or bad? Depends I suppose if you like cats. They make sure to come to breakfast if you want to give them something.
There were also free wi-fi. I couldn't get it in our room, my husband got some connection on the balcony. It depends on your phone or computer. But you have connection if you keep close to the reception or the terrace near the reception. If the internet is out one day, tell Maria, because the cats sometimes knocks the wi-fi over.
The rooms were quite all right as well. There was a TV and the bathroom was clean. The bed was the worst part, though. It was so hard that both me and my husband had difficulties sleeping. It felt as if there was missing a mattress, as from what we are used to from home. But all the people we have spoken to afterwards say it is the same everywhere you go in Greece, not just Agnanti or Parga. So I guess that's something you have to stick with.
Otherwise there were only minor flaws, such as one of the two lamps going out in our toilet. I noticed it shortly before we were going home and should of course have told about it, but I totally forgot. However our room was cleaned every day, so one might think that the cleaning lady would notice it.
To sum up:
- Friendly staff
- Free wi-fi
- Hard beds
