Having been coming to Parga for 5 years, we have eaten in most of the restaurants and have our favourites. Every year we would dine at Castello once and normally one of us would leave disappointed with our meal. Having not eaten there for the past couple of years, we decided to give it another go. The setting is lovely and service polished, attentive and excellent. I was surprised to see their menus had never changed. Now starting to look dog eared and old. Most of the dishes were the same as well. I had the calamari lucia starter, which was overcooked calamari in a soup with potatoes. It just does not work. The calamari was like rubber and the potatoes were soggy and fell apart. My main pasta with crayfish had a very bland sugo. Very boring dish. Nice touches like sending over a brandy at the end of the meal but they need new menus and a better chef.
