Get a donkey up its a lot easier, beware they charge you 6 euro when you get to the top to go in. Great views from the top for some fantastic pictures. Best Tip: go early morning then to the beach and visit the shops later in the day it is so hot.

Fine to see, its a walk outside Rhodes town, signposts not too good, so good shoes are advised. Not well maintained though the local council have ignored it

Got off tour bus to take a look glad we did. Step back in history take a camera great views well worth the small walk. The history is breath taking. Just need a few signs explaining the historic facts.

It is worth getting off the sight seeing bus to walk around this sight for an hour or two, would not recommend for those with walking disabilities as the ground is uneven and there are lots of steps. The Acropolis has been heavily restored and rebuilt but there are some good ruins, a small and mostly recently reconstructed amphitheatre and a very impressive stadium as well. It is free and not at all overcrowded well worth a visit. There are impressive views of Rhodes Town and the mountains of Turkey in the far distance. Don't forget to take your camera and some refreshment, as there is nowhere to buy water or food. The sightseeing bus stops regularly so you can hop off and catch a later one back down to Rhodes Town.
