If you're renting a car, a quad, or anything motorised, take a trip here! It's a real neat cute place with loads of wonderful flashbacks to many childhoods. Most of the toys are Greek in origin and that makes it even more special. There is even functioning 80s arcade machines in the basement, it was a delighful surprise. The people who work and own it are incredible gentle and nice people. Really worth a quick amount of your time, just to give yourself a sweet feeling on nostalgia. Some of the toys are also interactive and can be played with. Its free to visit, but it shouldn't be for all the care you feel going in there. Really a hidden gem of Rhodes.

Rhodes, so much more than the eastcoast! Do not stay on the beach but go and explore the island ( and it's history) and discover one of its beautifull treasures...the Toy museum! Fun for everyone!! Do do not forget to let your gift "disappear" in the magic box...And while you are there anyway... support the local minimarkets and restaurants in the area...cause if you do not, you neither have seen Rhodes as it really is, nore have you support the local entreprenneurs! Found this lovely little place by accident, was closed when we found it but we came back during opening hours. What an amazing collection of historical toys made in Greece. Owners were extremely friendly and told us about certain ones and the collections. Such good condition with lots of them in original boxes. Plenty of stuff for kids to do as well. Then the basement had some old arcade games and pinball machines which they have fixed and kept going and brought you back to your childhood. Such a unique and fascinating place and I hope it keeps going for years. Thank you for allowing us to visit.

Well worth the 40min trip. It isn’t very big but doesn’t need to be. And for free! Although we did buy some wall plaques.

Fortunately we turned back, when we saw the sign of Rhodes toy museum. The museum locates in the middle of the valley, surrounded by olivetrees. The place where you can't think you will find such a lovely museum, with a lot of old toys. And old pinballmachines and videogames. And it is not just that, you can actually play them. You can also test other old toys and play with them too. It was like you've been send back to your childhood. Highly recommended place to visit.
