typical hotel rooms with good view( these that we booked) its an old building with no having the services for a 4star hotel!!! the bathroom, except it was dirty, there were missing tiles from the wall and a result moisture was coming from the bricks!!! :( :( the breakfast was average not American not European!!! if you have any other choice do not choose it!!!

Room Tip: ask the staff for sea view rooms any other doesn't worth!!

If you want to hear loud music from the hotel inside yard every night, this hotel is for you! a lot teenagers shouting, drinking, playing very very loud music and girls screaming every night. it seems that this is not a 4 stars hotel but some students camp house. Sad but hotel stuff acts, that they don't hear that awfull noise from yard at all. we stayed here for a ten nights and all that nights was like we were in woodstock music festival :)
i was never been in hotel like this and i hope that ill never be in such a place like this again.
NOT recomend for persons older than 20!

Friendly staff, good service, basic breakfast, Free wifi.
As i got there early for checkin I got first a room on 2nd floor on harbour site.
Got no wifi sign and went back to reception, got another room where I got wifi.
The swimming pool on the roof is small but has a nice view.
I stayed there from 30-6 until 4-7-2013.
I would return and recommend to others to come it's nice and quite hotel for very good price quality!
Thanks a lot for your service and making me having a great stay in Kos.

The Kosta Palace overlooks the wonderful Kos Town Harbour, if booking I'd recommend asking for a Harbour View. Looks as if rooms are at the front and the self catering units are at the back overlooking the garden which isn't nothing special, worth checking as it's lovely to sit on ones balcony watching the activity within the Harbour.
We did Bed and Breakfast, Breakfast food was very average, buffet style but Restaurant was clean and well kept by staff. You could take your breakfast outside and sit on the patio area overlooking the harbour.
The roof top swimming pool never got overcrowded and one could always find shade if required. A Receptionist was always on duty and was always polite and helpful. Getting about was easy and there were many hired cycles parked at the side of the hotel.
Rooms were cleaned every day and beds made for us. Although Beds weren't the most comfortable that I've sleep in. Overall excellent, but still a few areas that could be improved.

Room Tip: Ask for an Harbour View

At the end of June I stayed for a week at this hotel. Was a very nice experience. The hotel is situated in a perfect location at harbour street. Is very close to the whole agitated zone of Kos Town, but still in a quiet location. The view from the hotel terrace is amazing...the hole port is seen in his splendour.
Rooms were big and pretty clean. The breakfast was an ok continental buffet although was the same every morning.
A minus I might say for the thin walls and the marble on the floor of the hole hotel which made it very noisy.
Overall a great staying place if you want to visit Kos island.

This hotel is in a great spot of Kos Town, very centrally located and considering the price, great value for money.

There are a few things which let it down. The rooms are quite dated and the smell of sewage is a constant. The breakfast is average, nothing to write home about. We had a courtyard facing room, but there are harbour facing rooms which look have spectacular views. You probably need to pay extra for those. The staff were friendly, room service was fast and efficient. We had a standard room which still had a kitchenette with a small stovetop, microwave, fridge and sink. The rooms are very spacious. There was ample room for two of us. The tiles in the bathroom were cracked and needed updating, but we weren't bothered by this.

We didn't use the pool during our stay, it is on the roof of the hotel and when we went up there it was very windy and the smell of sewage was strong. Also there were no free sun beds.

Room Tip: Ask for a harbour facing room

From the moment we met Manos at reception we had a good time. We got a lovely harbour view room it was dated but was clean and spacious. Manos was extremely helpful and a credit to this hotel. Kos was very different to the other islands of Mykonos, Paros and Santorini, it was much more laid back and the Turkish influence makes it a very different Greek Island.
