Two things that made my impression are: location and stuff. Location is perfect. Everybody here says that and it's true. And I just loved the stuff. They're so nice, friendly and helpful! Any question about the town - and you'll be given with answer. It's not a regular politeness but sincere willingness to help.I don't remember the name, but there was a local man at reception. He's the best! And special thanks to Helena who arranged additional hangers for us.
Our room had a yard view and it was quiet. We hadn't any problems with noise or something. It was not a regular room but two rooms appartment. The only thing I can complain about is there was no shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom. Only soap. We were told that it should be specified in the contract to have it. But actually it's not a problem. Anyway, shampoo and shower gel in the hotels are never good and it's easy to buy in the shop.
Breakfast is basic.

We departed the hotel on 27th April 2013. Room was real good value for money. Breakfast was good value for money - more continental but great choice and a little something for everyone. I found myself making a variety of sandwiches each morning......

The location of this hotel was epic. We bought some fresh fish from the fishermen in front of the hotel for about 10 euros and cooked it in our mini kitchen with fresh garlic, butter and white wine- truly greek experience. Was fish banquet for king!

The lady on reception with long dark hair is a real asset to this hotel - every question we had she had lots of local information to help us make most of stay.

Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: Get to the select cafe/restaurant near the town square. The food is epic and for around 2/3's of the value you would normally pay in and around the more run of the mill resturants. We have 3 mains, 2 starters, 2 beers and a desert for 30 euros. Everywhere else we ate it was costing 55 euros up.

I cannot think of enough good things to say about this hotel.!!!!!
Room (24) was huge, bright and spotless.
Location was amazing, right on the harbour, 5 minute walk to a nice beach with some fantastic bars and restaurants, 2 minute walk to Kos town centre.
Rooftop pool good, plenty of sunbeds and the snack bar and eating area lovely.
Breakfast was good, my tips to people who moan about food being gone is get your lazy arses up in the mornings!! Latest I ate was 0800 and there was plenty and a great variety.
All the public areas where spotless. There always seemed to be a cleaner hard at work .
The staff were an absolute joy. Always friendly and willing to offer help or advice. Particular mention to all the restaurant girls, who helped me correct my limited Greek, they were all lovely.
Kristina at the pool bar was great.
Manos on reception was everything good about Greek hospitality, open , welcoming and charming.
The bar area was nice and the bar staff great.
I stayed 23-30 April, a great time to visit Kos.
I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
Fabulous. Well done everyone, this hotel is a credit to Greek tourism.
Paul (the man in black)

Room Tip: Room 24. Quiet and huge.

The hotel is perfectly located on the harbour front, with great views towards the castle and the hills beyond and all the boats in the harbour. We were lucky enough to get a harbour view room (78) and the views from the balcony are stunning.

All the floors are marble, including the passageways to the rooms and this does echo, especially with people trundling cases etc. but we were only woken up on one occasion, and it certainly wasn't kids it was a woman trying to contact her friend by banging on her door at 4am, after being told to shut up she went, the rest of the time it was quiet, but, the hotel for most of our stay was by no means busy, I would think that during busy times there is a slight possibility it could get noisy, but the same can be said for any hotel in a holiday destination, even a 5 star hotel, we did not hear anything from the rooms either side of us at all, not even from the tv

Breakfast was ok, do not expect a full english, what you do get is all self service, omlette type egg, hot dog and spicy type sausage and a ham type bacon and beans, various types of cold meats and cheeses, various breads, olives, pre boiled eggs 3 mins and 6 mins, greek yoghurt, assorted cereals and fruit, mainly peaches, apples and oranges, and assorted jams. Tea, all sorts, Earl Grey through to strawberry tea, including english breakfast and Ceylon, and coffee, Greek, instant and Nescafe. You can eat as much as you want, and there is plenty of it, do be careful of the sugar though, it has a tendancy to stick and if you knock it a load comes out at once

There is free wifi throught the hotel, we had a good connection in our room, but excellent in the lobby. Our room consisted of a bathroom with shower over the bath, toilet and sink, with a hairdryer, two single beds put together, with single sheets and bedspreads, a wardrobe with a few hangers in and three drawers and a safe, 10 euros for the safe with 30 euro deposit for the key, well worth it, a couple of plug sockets, two bedside tables with a single drawer in each and a
small tv with a few channels, 3 in english and a fridge, they do like you to leave your key on reception when leaving the hotel, if you lose your key it will cost you up to 50 euros to have it replaced. Our room was cleaned every day, bed linen was changed every three days, towels every day

All the staff we met were friendly, very polite and helpful, even the gardener, who tried to explain what the flowers were he was putting in when I asked him what they were. There was a right mix of nationalities when we were there, Spanish, Italians, French, Swedish, German, Dutch and Greek and a wide mix of age groups, from young couples to the older generation, and again, most if not all were freindly

You are surrounded by restaurants, all competing for your trade, our best meals without any doubt were had at two places one was Agkyra Restaurant, which is a seafood restaurant, fantastic food, and the other is Souvlaki Bar and Grill, next door to the Far East Chinese Restaurant, this is not fast food, it is excellent food cooked with care and the presentation was wonderful, not a large menu, but what they have is well worth eating, a lot of the locals eat here, so you know it must be good, and if you are desperate for a full english, their partner restaurant G Plaza does a great british breakfast and superb crepes and coffee

We will most certainly be returning late April to Maynext year

Very good location, friendly stuff, fresh and tasty breakfast, but..... be careful this hotel accepting big groups of children from schools, terrible noisy nights, you will not sleep for sure.Complete nightmare.Honestly not recommending.

Room Tip: If you still want to visit this place don't take garden view.
