The hotel is situated on the harbour side, with a jetty perching out. The setting is very special, but this comes with a price tag. We found this restaurant to be more expensive than the others on the island, despite the food being very similar. The staff are friendly and the food was good. If you want to treat yourselves, go here otherwise stick to the others, the view is no less spectacular.

This is the best location on Kastellorizo, but that's the high point. Waiter was comical, he provided us three incorrect orders, and overcharged us by 20 euros. have a drink there and relish the view (of course, you may get the wrong drink).

Have been visiting Lazerakis restaurant for the past 5 years or so. The first time was on a day trip by ferry from the Turkish town of Kas. We had lunch there before returning to Turkey in the late afternoon, we loved Kastellorizo and the food so much that we have been making trips back to stay over every time we visit Kalkan. Last year was my Big Birthday and stayed in Kastellorizo for 3 days and arranged my birthday meal at Lazarakis to celebrate "George" the owner pulled out all the stops and we had a wonderful meal of Lobster,Salads, and a special cake baked by Geoge's sister -all delicious washed with lots of local wine, champagne coffee not forgetting the local brew of "grappa" one of Georges favourites but beware this is strong stuff ! All in all Lazarakis if a wonderful place for lunch, dinner or just a beer in the afternoon. It can get really busy in the evening with yachts coming in from late afternoon to moor overnight .Just great to watch George directing them in (think he is the harbourmaster as well) to moor just at the end of his jetty. Evening service can be slow but this is a remote Greek Island so whats the hurry ?

Owner/restauranteur has a transmit button but unfortunately no receive capability. Give want he thinks you want rather than what you actually want. Firm handling accentuates the problem leaving him even more pleasd. Life should be easier than this.
