There's only so much that even the most vivid description can do to translate the tastiness of this meal and the richness of my overall dining experience at Restaurant Artemon, but I attempt to do so here:
Stamatis is an artist in the kitchen; the authenticity, quality, and multi-sensory beauty of his food is exceptional. Each dish is crafted with the freshest of ingredients and using Sifnian family recipes that he has perfected. Your chef and host will sit down to recite the daily specials to you on your arrival in the restuarant's grapevine-draped back garden, and this warrm hospitality will continue throughout your meal: you will feel a true guest here. The food is presented beautifully; everything from the simplicity of traditional fava stew and boiled greens to the exquite flavors of the sea such as the dorado and the grilled octopus is a feast for the eyes, the nose, and of course, for the tastebuds. I could not recommend this restaurant more highly. Certainly my most "Greek" and most delicious meal in Sifnos.
