“Picturesque place”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

Crissopigi is the most famous place of Sifnos! The small white church built on the rocks shines under the aegean sun!The church is open some hours every day so if you are lucky visit it. Some people lay on the rocks and jump in the sea. Prefer the 2 nice beaches near Crisopigi. There is a bus from Apollonia that stops near.

“Dramatic location”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

The Church has an important place in History for Sifnos. The location is dramatic with great views out to sea, to local beaches and rock formations.

“Beautiful setting for a church”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

When my husband and I visited the church, it was closed, so we couldn't go inside (the opening and closing times are posted on the door). However, the surrounding scenery and the beauty of the outside of the church and it's location were good enough for us. This is a great place to just relax and take in the views, take some stunning photos, or go for a swim in the surrounding waters. There's also a very small shop just a few steps from the church that sells drinks and souvenirs. There's also free parking at the entrance to the church. If you just want to walk around a bit and see the church, you can get done here very quickly, as it's not a large area. However, you can spend more time here if you want to sunbathe, swim, picnic, etc.

“Amazing church”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

Virgin Mary's Chrisopigi (Gold Spring) monastery is the patron of Sifnos and one of he most amazing Churches in Cyclades. Visit the monastery and go for a swim n the nearby Kofto and Saoures beaches.
