We were walk in customers of Pelican tours in Thera during our 1 week stay in Imerovigili, Santorini. We were advised appropriately, given a range of tour options, and not pressured on a decision. After consideration, we returned and booked a whole day guided bus tour including Akrotiri, Red Beach, Pyrgos village and the Vinsanto winery, as well as a lunch break at Parissa (Black beach). This tour was enjoyable at every stop, well guided, informative, not excess walking. Entry fees to the archeological dig site, and lunch, were extras.
We also booked a 7 hour cruise tour, including the volcano, hot springs, Tharisia, and drop off call at Oia. The volcano stop involved quite a walk, decent footwear required as advised before the tour. However, a great view from the top. The hot spring stop a little disappointing for those who swam off the boat into the small inlet....thought to be luke warm at best! The lunch stop at Tharisia offered little further attraction unless a climb up apparently 200 steps was undertaken...few apparently tried this on our tour. This tour was again well guided, but for my mind, the volcano stop offered most satisfaction and information, so long as one took the walk to the top.
Pelican offered a range of tours and was honest and accurate without sales pressure. I recommend them.

I want to thank Pelekanos from Pelican Travel for all of your time, consideration, and patience. Pelekanos went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. He (and I imagine the rest of the staff at Pelican Travel) are top knotch and I would highly recommend booking through them when you visit Santorini. Many thanks again!

We booked a private land tour for my family and one more, a total of 9 persons, for our stopover in Santorini on May, 2013. Pelican Travel and Konstantinos handled the whole procedure of inquiries and booking very professionally and explained thoroughly all steps of the booking. Our ship arrived at 13:30 and our meeting with the mini bus was scheduled for 15:00 at Pelican Travel office in Fira. We met there our guide, George who suggested several alternative stops, but we opted for the initial program. We did not want to spend time on the top of mountail Profitis Elias, so we decided to stroll around within the old settlement of Pyrgos village as 3 members of our party are particularly interested in History. That's a very nice walk and one can see a lof of old mansions and momuments in a peaceful environment. George told us that this is a typical example of fortress settlement. After that, we spent some time in the closeby winery, called Santo, if I remember correct. We had a short wine tasting and took some good pictures of the view of the volcano and Oia. Instead of going to the beach of Perissa, we decided to go to Ammoudi port, as this is very close to Oia and that would give more time in Oia. Indeed, Oia is really one of the most beautiful villages on earth! If I ever come in Santorini again, I will certainly book a hotel there. We ended our tour at Ammoudi port, just below Oia, where we had dinner at the first restaurant, can't remember the name, though, but food and service were awesome. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for the sunset, because we had to catch the last tender to our ship. That was one of the best days we had during our trip!!

Just a quick not for saying thanks to all staff of Pelican for the day tour we had in Santorini. Being aboard our cruise ship, we booked the tour for 7 persons through the Internet and was a good a good deal. Our guide was well prepared with a vast knowledge of the island and willing to answer all our questions. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to see the sunset, as we had to catch the last tender to our ship. We really enjoyed our day and we definitely recommend the services of Pelican!
