Take a cruise tour to see the beaches in Santorini if you have limited time and if you are not willing to climb and walk to reach some of them. The tour includes lunch which is great, drinks (including wine), they stopped at some beaches, you will full of swimming. They will also go to hot springs which will be interesting also. The color of the water is freightened. When you return you will see the famosu Santorini sunset (sun directly set into the the sea) from the cruise. Hint: Santorini is a windy island so take something (which should be waterproof) with you to use in return trip

The island itself is so beautiful and romantic. We were lucky to see a couple get married with the beautiful caldera witnessing their vows :) Reluctantly, we decided to go for this day cruise since the island itself was so very captivating and we thought we would be loosing time on the cruise. But, I must tell you every person who goes to Santorini must do the day cruise. The islands look magical from the water and you do get some thrills climbing a once active volcano island upto the delta point :) The view from the top is brilliant ! The day was fabulous, swim in the mineral rich hot springs was great and we had the crew play saxophone for us and few dolphins came by near the vessel :) Food served inside the vessel was good and we did a group dance in the vessel as well till we saw the sun setting slowing into the ocean. It was simply so romantic and the most beautiful thing I have seen on earth ! The view was splendid. We are going back again to repeat the experience soon.

We did a full day tour minus the sunset from Oia. We were taken by bus from our hotel to Amoudi beach, and boarded a wooden, traditional type boat. We then sailed to Fira for 30 minutes to pick up more passengers. Next stop was the volcanic island hike- make sure you wear walking shoes as it's rocks all the way, and take water to drink. Our guide was very informative, funny and friendly. We were then taken to the 'hot springs' for a dip - you can jump into the ocean from the boats edge and swim into the spring. Beware, the 'spring' is in the ocean, on the edge of the volcanic island so smells a little; it also turns a mustard colour the closer you swim in - but it is warm! We stopped off at another island for lunch (lunch is not included) and relaxed on the shore line. The sail back to Oia was the most memorable part of the day as the sea was very rough! Quite scary at times, but an experience! THe view of the coast line front he boast was fabulous too.

We visited this island from our Cruise and it was one of the most beautiful places we have visited. You have to take a cable car to reach the top or ride on a horses back as it is too steep and high up to walk. The views were breathtaking when we reached the top and everyone was extremely friendly.

Santorini is a wonderful island which I fell totally in love with. My friend and I decided to go on a day cruise as it gave us the opportunity to see this beautiful place from the water. It did not disappoint! The day was fabulous and the crew on the catamaran were marvellous, they looked after us very well, nothing was too much trouble. The food was cooked to perfection and there was plenty of it. The sights were all very interesting and diverse but the sunset was something else. It was breathtaking and a perfect end to a wonderful day.
