We found the Boudari Hotel on Tripadvisor. We read the rveiws and we were sufficiently persuaded to take the plunge.
We needn't have worried.
We stayed in one of the new suites that are situated 10 metres from the beaches (of which there are 3). We had a double bedroom and a 'living room' that had two single beds - fine for teenagers.
There are now 2 pools at the hotel which meant that often we were actually on our own around the water.
We loved the Boudari. The family that run it (and that means really run it - the father even picked us up and dropped us back at the ferry to Athens) cannot do enough to help.
The hotel could not be described as cheap, but it was not over-priced either.
We ate out at about 10 different restaurants in our time on Paros and we can honestly say that the food at the Boudari was as good as any and better than the vast majority (and it is difficult to eat badly in Paros).
Excellent all round - Highly recommended.

In fact we are still staying in the hotel, leaving in 2 days....
We chose this hotel, since friends of ours recommended it....The hotel is located in Dryos area which is ideal for those seeking piece and tranquility....We stayed in the new suites which are really nice although i think that the price of 230 euros per day is very high since the hotel is just a 3 star and the facilities are limited..I agree that the rooms in the suites are nicely decorated, there is a nice balcony with sea view...but still it is expensive...the suites share a common pool just 10m from the sea...i never comment on the pools since [matter os attitude] we never use them...
i need to say that the main hotel rooms have nothing in common with the suites..very basic...
the breakfast is ok...basic but tasty...and everything is of good value..
in front of the hotel there are 3 small beautiful coves...tranquil..sandy..no wind at all..ideal for both adulta and children...excellent....
we never had dinner at the hotel..we use to explore the local cuisine in the places we go-so i cannot comment on the restaurant of the hotel...
the owners are very friendly and always smiling making u feel at home...
oh and there is atiny gym with a treadmill, bicycle and a gym machinw where if u know u can do all the basic stuff you need to keep fit...

We traveled to Greece for the christening of a friends child. They had been their before but did not want to stay in the same hotel that they got married at because the rates where not as reasonable so they choose Boudari for its good reputation and reasonable rates. We were traveling with two 3 year olds and were somewhat apprehensive about how that might work. We were so happy with the accommodations. We really felt like we did some real traveling and adventuring while at the same time feeling secure and well cared for. Anna who runs the place, as has been mentioned before, has a keen eye for detail and is so gracious in taking care of her guest The hotel was host to the christening party and our hosts said she provided many extra services and thought of the many special touches we noticed. The new suites are stunning. If you are going to Paros you could not find a more wonderful place to stay.

Here is a very good plan for those who want to spent time in a quie, clean and sympatic hotel in on of the calmest area of the Paros Island, far away from the Port agitation or from Naoussa, the local St Tropez.

A very efficent bus system make it easy and very simple to reach the hotel from the port or to move away in the islant.

The hotel is neat, it has a very nice garden with a pool and the sea is 20 or 30 meters away. The rooms are simple but confortable and the people here were very sympatic to us.

Even for a famlilly, this hotel is a great and, somehow quite economic place to rest there.

We stayed in the Boudari in early July 08 with our 4 children.
We didn't want to drive during our holidays so proximity to public transport was important to us. The hotel is a five minute walk from the bus stop for the main bus route across the island and is approached via a little country lane, so it 's like finding an oasis at the end of the road. We found we did not need a car during our stay.
The reception area is 'cool/trendy' and modern but also very Greek and there has clearly been great attention given to the details at this hotel.
The buffet breakfast , which was excellent, is served on the main terrace, with beautiful views out to sea. We also had a delicious meal in the hotel resteraunt
We had two rooms, side by side, which were clean, air conditioned, spacious and well equiped with cooking facilities for breakfast or snacks.
There was a small safe cove 3 minutes walk from our door and the main beach with bars and tavernas was about 10 minutes walk further along a cliff path.
.
The nicest thing about this hotel was the warm welcome we received from the owner, a Greek lady (Anna) who clearly has great plans for her property and we wish her the very best of luck with her endeavours.
If you want to swtich off and relax for a few days in a friendly and mildly luxourious oasis, then this is the place for you.
