“Awesome”
Reviewed July 10, 2009

We were in Naxos before the main tourist season and it was awesome. We rented a quad for 20E/day for two days and we got to do our own tour of the island with a map from the tourist office. The map is not a typical map - some roads aren't labelled, but that's how the roads are, there are no road names, just signs pointing towards towns. There were about the same amount of tourists as locals - most of the restaurants were not near capacity but that made the service great and also gave some privacy while there too. The island was big enough that we didn't see it all but small enough that we got to see a few of the towns and some beaches. The Greeks were really nice and friendly and helpful. The food in Greece was fabulous - while staying on Naxos try the Naxos salad - the soft cheese is great! We didn't spend much time at the hotel (I guess that is the point of this review) but it was great, the receptionist was awesome, very helpful (Almost everyone on the island spoke English) and our room was cleaned every day - clean towels, bathroom (the showers have curtains) - the cleaning lady was very kind and worked hard. The hotel offers breakfast even though we didn't take advantage and also has a small bar, although I'm sure most people would hit up one of the restaurant/bars where you can sit right near the water/port. Overall I would recommend this hotel to friends/family/strangers - for the price and friendliness and cleanliness, it was worth it - and way cheaper than a sub-par US hotel. PS We had a balcony that faced the port!

We stayed here whilst island hopping as Naxos is a good port for connections to other islands and the mainland. The room was clean and we thought a reasonable size and the balcony looked out over the harbour and the sea (beautiful sunsets). The bathroom too was clean and modern and we have definitely had much smaller!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate for the price. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and would return there.

I stayed in this Hotel for 3 days on May 2009. It is located 300 meters from where the ferries dock and has a nice view towards the sea front. Some rooms have only a partial sea view I think. Due to its location, obviously it is not a quiet hotel, but it is very handy to get to the harbour and the portara, the shops, the castle, and even St George's beach. This hotel should be one of the older in the town, but it is renovated, and although not perfect, offers a comfortable stay. There is Wi Fi, there is air con and TV in the room, there is a small fridge. Both bedroom and bathroom are small, but are clean and tidy. There is always hot water and a really nice pressure to take a shower, and linen are of good quality. Breakfast is rather basic, but you can not ask for more on the rates provided! They are really really good value for money. Hotel is family owned and operated, and staff is very polite and helpfull. They are pleasant and quite up for a chat, time provided!
Hotel is open all year too.
I would definately stay here again anytime! : )

We booked a room with an ocean view months in advance, and was disappointed to be given a corner room with a tiny balcony, but the view was out of this world. The room was also small and so was the bathroom, but was clean and well serviced. The staff were always friendly and helpfull when we needed help, like extra pillows. We didnt try the breakfast as there was dozens of places a few metres along the busy waterfront to eat. If you dont want to walk any distance to eat out, this is your place.

We booked the hotel from 19 till 24 September through internet with 24hours travel agency in Athens. We got what we asked for, and were quite happy with our room, concidering the modest price. The port & sea view from our balcony was beautiful. Hotel staff was friendly and correct. If back on Naxos I would surely book again.

Main advantage of this hotel is its location: right in front of Naxos' main port and in the centre of the village, where all shops, agencies, bars and restaurants are located.

However, we found the room & bathroom extremely small, not very well kept, with a depressing view on a backyard. Luckily we stayed there only for one night.
Moreover, we showed up for breakfast at 9.50 (breakfast time was til 10.00), and there was nothing left, with the waitress very annoyed of our coming...

I think that this is absolutely no value for the money we spent (Euro 75), which is a very high rate in comparison to what you pay for very nice and clean rooms on Greek islands.
