This is such a lovely beach. We went to many beaches on the island and this was one of our favourites. You can rent a beach chair set with umbrella for €12. You also get free wifi from the local restaurant

If I could trade all of the spring breaks I spent in Florida as a college kid for one trip to Mykonos as a young and single girl, I would! However, even being in my mid 30s and my husband in his early 50s, we still had an amazing time at this beach. We were told by our hotel that this was the St. Tropez of Mykonos where the famous went if they were indeed in town. By the time we left the place, we thought we were famous--LOL. We had a whirlwind stay in Mykonos and spent a whopping 3-4 hours in the late afternoon at this beach. We rented two chairs, people watched over drinks, rocked to the music and then topped it off with an early dinner at Nammos on the beach. Make a reservation! Yummy meal. Lots of interesting people. Great music. Beautiful boats and people. What more can you ask for?

I was warned that this is where the rich and famous go. And prices would be expensive. So we walked there from Plati Yialos about a 15 minute hike instead of taking a taxi. Just an average beach. Lots of lounge chairs for rent. Crowded. I think lots of people there just wanted to go there to say they've been there (sounds like me!). Nothing special about this beach. Water was just as clear as other beaches. No famous people seen! The thing that sets this beach apart from others we went to in Greece was that in the distance there were a number of private yachts anchored. And a couple of them were huge! To bad none of the owners invited us for a tour...

This is a beautiful and fun beach with a 'seen & be seen' kind of vibe. Tip: call ahead or have your hotel call ahead and reserve a bed for you, because you arrive after noon, there is a chance you may not get a bed. The beach fills up quickly. Don't forget to make a reservation at Nammos, the adjoining restaurant, which practically turns into a club after 5:00. Great music, great vibe. Overall, a definite must on your trip to Mykonos.

A very expensive beach club next to bargain basement holes in the sand. To be avoided unless you either want to spend too much money or feel like a loser.
