This taverna gave us the best tasting and best value meal of all the places we have visited on Mykonos. Nice variety of dishes on menu, including choice of fresh fish daily that you can choose from the display. You can watch the chef cook. Their Stuffed tomatoes were the best i have ever tasted. Friendly and efficient staff. Tables have a great view of this narrow sheltered cove, and eating there on the balcony was very comfortable and sheltered despite it being a very windy day. The beach is course sand and with very few people on it when we visited. The narrowness of the cove provides shelter to this beach although it was so windy there were waves breaking on the beach. Despite its isolation Fokos beach and taverna are very easy to find. At the far end of Just one road and well signposted (for Mykonos) from the war memorial on the main road through Ano Mera. Last two miles or so are not tarmacced, but the road is flat and wide enough for two cars to pass most of the way, and running along the side of a reservoir.

I love finding isolated little hidden gems and this was one. Beautiful drive down to the beach, the Taverna is adorable, staff friendly, food great and reasonably priced. Would have come back if we had more time.

We hired a car for the day and ended up here by chance. I am so glad we did!

The food was fresh and tasty. It was simple food - ceviche and grilled sea bass and a ceasar salad but it was all made with fresh ingredients and done very well. Good price too!

We had 2 appetizers and a main entree for 26 Euros at a seaside table. The food and the view were fantastic and the northly breeze was awesome in the summer heat. We lingered and enjoyed the view. Worth the trip especially if you rent an ATV.

The place is fantastic and the service excellent. Repaired by a veranda you can eat fresh meat and fish grilled with Greek salads and spinach pie. Fantastic. A place to be.
