This taverna gave us the best tasting and best value meal of all the places we have visited on Mykonos. Nice variety of dishes on menu, including choice of fresh fish daily that you can choose from the display. You can watch the chef cook. Their Stuffed tomatoes were the best i have ever tasted. Friendly and efficient staff. Tables have a great view of this narrow sheltered cove, and eating there on the balcony was very comfortable and sheltered despite it being a very windy day. The beach is course sand and with very few people on it when we visited. The narrowness of the cove provides shelter to this beach although it was so windy there were waves breaking on the beach. Despite its isolation Fokos beach and taverna are very easy to find. At the far end of Just one road and well signposted (for Mykonos) from the war memorial on the main road through Ano Mera. Last two miles or so are not tarmacced, but the road is flat and wide enough for two cars to pass most of the way, and running along the side of a reservoir.
