The "official" name of this tavern is "t'ageri" and is found at the opposite end of the waterfront from the windmill. The menu board on the pavement attracted me immediately with the various fish dishes on offer. Due to the road works and noisy machinery it wasn't appropriate for us to take a closer look...however, the day came when the works had moved away and I was delighted to find it open for business. The menu was varied and catered for all tastes and prices. The situation is very pleasant overlooking the waterfront and the tables were well set out, clean and attractive. It became apparent the main chef was not there at the time of our visit but the staff put themselves out and were able to serve us everything that we ordered and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. There is a website with photos and the menu is displayed....www.tageri.com and I recommend you take a look.
