“Well worth the climb”
Reviewed June 30, 2011

We loved our trip to Amorgos but were very disappointed with the food except in the Kamara. Yes, the view is excellent, but the food is what you are really going for. We drove to the parking area and walked up the steps from there, but even if you don't have a car, it would still be worth walking up the hill from Aegaili.

“Sundowner at it's best”
Reviewed May 21, 2011

Great view, exciting sunsets, savour local organic food and enjoy the atmosphere of a tenderly arranged place on the roof terrace high above the sea. the refurbished 250 old house is a hip place, two terraces and a well decorated lounge to chill and enjoy, meet nice people. the host family is young, friendly and well skilled.
Kamara cannot be reached by car. You have to walk prom the parking lot in Potamos up the steep stairway - it will take you 7-10 minutes. Or you pass by at the Kamara Cafe at your walk from monastery of Hozoviotissa to Aegiali (a must) nearly at the end of your trip.
