We stayed 15 days in 2nd half of June and loved every minute of it.
Was all we expected and more. Done as a boutique hotel by a young couple from Amorgos, the hotel is simply and tastefully decorated, providing modern comfort while preserving the spirit of simplicity of the Cyclades. Rooms are spacious, simple, with terraces overlooking the sea and the spectacular sunsets. Marbled bathroom fresh and clean, silent air conditioner (for when you need it), fridge. Everything brand new and kept in mint condition. We felt as we were the first ones using the hotel.
Great location: top view to the sea, in one extreme of the town of Aegieali, short walk to the wonderful huge beach where you can always find a corner of your own, and to couple delicious restaurants, cafes. Great base for walks to traditional towns in the surrounding hills and possibilities to rent scooters, cars. Though hotel is located close to the road, traffic is very little and does not impact the ambiance on the pool or rooms (no noise, you don't see it from rooms or pool)
When booking we thought the swimming pool was an unnecessary extra, but we wound up using it everyday for refreshing dives and at the end of the day while sipping ‘mohitos’ and enjoying the sunset. The most fun I’ve had in a pool since I was 13. We even invited friends so much we felt at home.
The owners and the staff are extremely kind, helpful and friendly. People in the neighbouring towns are just adorable.
We came to Amorgos for the wonderful unspoiled nature, and the unique Chora monastery….. but what we will remember for a long, long time is the tremendous kindeness of the people.

I stayed there with my Girlfriend while attending a wedding on Amergos and really liked the place. Its run by a very nice couple who grew up in Aegiali and can tell you where all the good places on the Island are.

As far as hotel amenities go we loved our room it was spacious and a little deck and a nice view of the ocean, they serve a decent breakfast every morning. It has a good internet connection, there's wireless out by the pool and lobby and they have cables for the rooms. We didn't think we'd use the pool because the beaches are so good but we ended just hanging around the pool a few mornings and really enjoyed it. I was a little worried becuase the hotel pool is next to what I thought was a major road but actally there was very little traffic and you can't really see it from the pool area.

Some of our friends where staying in a much more expensive hotel and honestly Yperia had nicer rooms and a better vibe.

It was great, I can't say enough.

We stayed at the Yperia Hotel for more than a week at the beginning of august and I must say that this hotel was a beautiful surprise. We had a large superior room with sea view, just above the swimming pool which was very clean and stayed so during the whole duration of our stay. The breakfast was very good and the people there very helpful and with a sincere smile which was a nice change after our terrible experience in Santorini.
Free Wifi access around the pool, pool bar at the evening, possibility to pay by credit card the balance...
The only drawback could be that there is no transport from the port but I think that you need to rent a car in Amorgos to enjoy it so this is not a big deal.
I would highly recommend this place and the island itself. The Chora is very nice as well.

My family and I stayed at Yperia H 10 nights and appreciate very much this Hotel, clean and it well worths indeed; moreover the owner is a very communicative, reliable and fair person. The pool makes the context perfect and the vacation really relaxing. I'm gonna plan my next holidays there.
