It was very interesting and had a lot of historical relics and antiquities - and a lot of welcome air conditioning

My wife and I visited this museum whilst visiting the springs close by. We loved the place. It really does show the life and times of a bygone age in the village. Well worth the visit. It is a very small museum. A good guided tour last about 20 minutes.

One of the best collections of Cretan textiles and crafts, well laid out and displayed.

Worth a visit when you are in the Old town. Interesting insight into Cretan life. Inexpensive (and over 65's get concessions).

We were in Crete for the first two weeks in May. Each time we went to this museum it was closed. It lost a lot of business at 4 Euros entry as many others turned up to be disappointed despite being within their opening hours.

Suggest phning ahead before you go.
