Description: We strive for what we love in a world that has forgotten the value of food in our lives. A plate of food, eaten in a restaurant or at home, the taste and the quality depends on the raw materials we use. With this as our principle and also that are forthright in any form of mass production of the raw materials, we have come and we have partnerships only with small local producers, who have the same philosophy as us. Our cuisine consists of raw materials without pesticides and fertilizers and from animals grown and fed in nature, as normally required in warehouses and not eating GM foods.

It took us a while to actually find this restaurant - they are off the beaten path and don't want to advertise much - the real connoisseurs will find their way eventually.
The place doesn't look much from outside - humble see side terrace and indoor place across the road. The View is nice - to the left you have whole Rethymon in front of you.
Very popular with locals and for the good reason - the food is excellent.

We visited this restaurant quite by mistake but as happens occasionally it ended well. Unable to park in Rethymnon Centre we headed out of town went to turn around in side road next to the sea and found this place, we liked the look of it and stayed for the afternoon .. Brilliant. The service was slow but the food was good and with the nice touch of a local free drink as we paid for our fish and crab salads.
The place does have a magnificent view and you are right next to the sea without a hint of sand in your food, it was very enjoyable and would visit again if in Crete.

We loved this restaurant so much we visited twice during our holiday. The setting is lovely, right on the sea with lovely views across to the Harbour. Food was excellent and service was very good. Decor was very nice, the furniture, flowers and ornaments were tasteful and elegant. Beautiful wine glasses as opposed to cheap tumblers you get in some restaurants. Extensive menu selection, portions not large but were plenty for us, two of the party had grilled salmon, a very large piece of salmon and a small salad of thinly sliced cucumber in tasty dressing was served on a slate platter, the bread basket was lovely, nothing cheap here good quality crusty. Lovely evening would recommend a visit to this restaurant.

One has to decide what takes priority here. Setting/view or food.

The setting was amazing. On the water with an amazing view. I visited a group of friends on a wonderful wind still evening in September.

I shared a seafood platter with a friend. I thought the food was average, however others in our group thought the food was excellent.

I would recommend visiting if you are in Rethymno for a few nights and happy to explore different restaurants.

The service was good and the waiters were very helpful. We would also bring our own wine, which was a plus for our group, but we also tried a greek wine on their recommendation which was AMAZING!
