I walked past this place, looked at the menu outside and walked on. I later walked back and decided to go for it. And I was pleased that I did. I chose three things to eat. Horta, which is something I try to eat at...least every other day when I'm in Greece. I love it and this was pretty good - it came with a courgette and a boiled potato. Then I had courgette fritters, which were delicious. The third thing was fried calamari - a big plate with lots of the 'bits'. Very tasty. I also had a half litre bottle of Titakis retsina, one that was new to me. I noted that it was made on Crete. Service was friendly and quick. The prices were reasonable and it was great to be able to sit outside in the middle of October looking at the sea. I'd definitely recommend.More

This was the first restaurant we went to on our holiday and found by chance. I'm so glad we did find it! We had hoped to visit it again on our last day but were too far away. The staff are lovely, relaxed, and very...passionate about what they do. I got the grilled pork and my partner got the linguini, both cooked to perfection. The free dessert was also brilliant. I loved this place and should I ever be in Crete again, this is the first place I would go! I have already recommended it to family and friends.More

Terrific choice of Cretan food at a reasonable price. On the waterfront at Heraklion on a warm summer evening it was a pleasant surprise in a tourist area. The grilled octopus was a little smart, but the giros of pork was sufficient to share.

A restaurant with a fantastic view in the city centre offers classic Cretan and Greek food. They specialize in seafood dishes , octopus , snails , fish . Tried fried zucchini , snail, tzatziki, all 10/10 . The waiter was attentive and despite the place...being crowded , service was great , and food arrived fast ! Try the local wine when you’re thereMore

Overcooked and Overpriced Seafood. Location is very nice but the food does not match that. All the seafood was very overcooked. Prices were very high in comparison to other places in the town and the food was not as good. Service was not good.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. The food was excellent, they have really good moussaka and the service was perfect. The location is also very good and has a really beautiful sea view. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing food and amazing view over the sunset and harbor. Staff is super nice and friendly. I had pasta marine with seafood, the portion was huuuuuge I couldn't finish it by myself. In the end, they gave us watermelon, ice cream, raki, and juice as...a gift. We came back the next day when we realized we had forgotten sunglasses there, nice waiters kept them for us. Service is impeccable.More

Very tasty and reasonably priced. We were headed for the restaurant next door but there were no tables below umbrellas. The best zucchini chips. I had grilled sardines -large portion, well prepared and my friend ( she’s Greek) had moussaka which was tasty too.

The staff are nice and the spot overlooks the sea. The food is very inspired for the most part. The phyllo stuffed with cheese was the best part and the Greek salad was good. The mussels were in a nice garlic sauce but were not...sweet. The octopus was not grilled well and seemed too chewy for fresh octopus. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, many of which would likely be better.More

Amazing food, service and atmosphere! You don’t feel like you’re in the city when you’re here! The zucchini chips, fava, Greek salad and chicken were amazing! The nicest waiters and they brought dessert and raki on the house! Highly recommend!!!

We went here whilst waiting for the hop on/hop off and so glad we did. Service was great. Not being too hungry we only ordered a selection of starters. Plenty to eat. The Dolmades were freshly made and the best I have ever had and...I have had quite a few in different Greek islands. Later we went back for dinner as we wanted to view the sunset. The food was excellent and so was the service. My only gripe is the toilets are across the road and up a number of steps. With old age knee problems I couldn’t face the steps. Otherwise I thoroughly recommend this place to anyone visiting Heraklion. Two sisters and husbands.More

We stopped in here for a drink and the staff could not have been nicer. They greeted us warmly and offered delicious fresh olives and breadsticks to go with our drinks. The view was beautiful, along the seaside. A wonderful example of Cretan hospitality.

We wanted fish, orderd two plates, he said the plates would come without vegetables, so we orderd a plate, the vegetables came burned, my wife told me Not to eat them, that this is cancerous. We waited very long to receive the bill, the waiter...asked why we didn't eat them. He went to the cook, came back, said that it is ok like this, that this the way he prepares them....We had to pay for the Burned food.More
