“Good but too noisy”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

Paralia is a perfectly ok restaurant with friendly service and good food. But as many have already reported, it is right on an extremely noisy and exhaust-fume-smelly street and this detracts a lot from the experience. If you do not mind noise, you will have a very nice experience. We had dolmades and mashed fava beans for starters and a mixed grilled fish plate for the main course, all good. This was followed by complimentary fruit and dessert plates. And raki of course.

“good value, tasty food, loud street”
Reviewed October 2, 2012 via mobile

although the outdoor seating is set right on the water, it is also right on the street. loudest lunch I've had in a long time.

that being said the food was legit and fairly priced. the head wait staff treated us to a freshly made batch of local dessert, and the Venetian Fort Koules is literally within throwing distance. that's pretty cool.

“Superb in all regards”
Reviewed September 28, 2012

We went in the evening, whilst there was no real view to speak of the food and service made up for this.

We ordered a range of starters and drinks, the house wine whilst nothing to write Home about was good and the Amstel beer was cold and refreshing - cheaper also that a number of other restaurants we had been to.

The food was superb the salads fresh and full of flavour, the anchovies fresh and the squid was a pleasure to eat. As to the main courses we ordered the bream and the red mullet and here the quality and freshness of the fish shone through with both tasting delicious.

The service was friendly and welcoming and we would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

“Good service and great view”
Reviewed September 22, 2012

The view is great and the service is excellent. At the end, they give us fruits, Ouzo (typical Greek spirit) and Greek donuts with ice cream. The food could be better, specially the grill octopus (not so soft) and the risotto (it was rice with seafood, not risotto), but in general is good food.
The bad thing: very noisy, because there is a street at your side.
